CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Maybe the evolutionists are afraid to watch the whole video and dont knwo how to respond because of lack of knowledge in the OP.

Well the goal of the post is to get evolutionists views on the chip.
But I guess if humans are evolving their could be an off topic way to go with how we eveolved to a point to be able to craete the chip.

The fact is a so called eveolved species ( homo sapiens ) have created a chip with the potential to do all the things you refute.
Some of this same species have already been implanted willingly with this chip and the chip has been looked at for many other purposes than you mention.
and after one looks at the entire video and sees the many facts on it in addition to the ones I just mentioned they can make a more eductaed decision on how to vote in the poll.

Lie. There is no chip that can do all the things in that video.
RFID tags only provide an ID Number, nothing that the video shows.
I did, the video doesn't have many facts, just misinformation.

An RFID chip would save hundreds, if not thousands of lives. It would nearly eliminate wrongly prescribed medications, as one example.

I do not see any particular problems with the chip as it really is. I do see a problem with the lies told in this clip. I also see a problem with Carey ignoring the correction to the lies in the clip, which make him a liar too.
But then again, my experience is that creationists are generally not very good on the morality thingie, so it all works out.

They state that they are in negotiations with banks & ATM's (30 Seconds Second Video) but not that I found in the VariChip corporation SEC Filings. ( http://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-e...=&State=&SIC=&owner=include&action=getcompany )
They state that chip was created by Digital Angel to compete with God (53 Seconds into Video) Nothing about this on there site ( http://www.digitalangel.com/about.aspx ) so are they reading minds to know what others are thinking now ?
They state that many employers are requiring employees to "get chipped" (may denotes a large number) yet they only mention ONE company, and not even if it was Required (as stated) or voluntary.
One company is not Many. Another Lie in the video.
They state that you can get burned by being near a strong magnetic field. False according to the laws of electromagnetism.

The facts the video give are that the chip
1. is being used as a tracking device in animals now and can be used for tracking humans. And humans have had it implanted already as well for this purpose.
2. The chip can be used to store all personal info health finacial etc.
3. The chip could be used as the sole monitary device for the planet. And banks are looking into its use.
4. The spin is because the chip has been looked at to replace credit , debit cards and cash this could fit the
Biblical mark of the beast that prevents or allows people to buy or sell.

I am ignoring a twist on the facts that make them seem to be lies. But ( some )evolutionists are easily swayed.
So it all works out.
The second video explains what was in the first is not lies.

False. You can't track anyone with an RFID chip, it doesn't have a transmitter required for Tracking.

False. the memory requirements are too much for the RFID chips to store all this information.

Wouldn't happen in this generation as the cost of the POS systems are still to high, the security is not there (too easy to hack), cost of implementing too high for the banks to swollow.
