I actually beg to differ, I was on this thread the entire time, and outside a few RUDE posts with some rude name calling, I think the majority voiced their anger or frustration/dissappointment very well!Nothing wrong about "taking stands" however how we did it was the problem. Its the attitudes are those who magnifies the faults of Erwin and attacking his character. When we argue and disagree, we will know what kind of a Christian each of us are and what kind of a heart we have. We always argue over things that we consider what appear to be "compromising" the Scriptures. A Christian life in this world should be different from the world, being in the world but not of the world.
The problem was you were just seeing alot of people one after one voicing it.
So after awhile, you took at as insults at him - probly becuz of the sheer number.
But EACH person who's a member HAD THAT RIGHT and even responsibility to voice it with the drastic change he made.
Alot of them were site supporters who spent their $$ here and felt shafted.
He removed the creed on 7-7-7, they were already angry at that. Then the next month he completely overhauls it look secular and shoved the Christians down to the BOTTOM of the site!
Lets not forget what a huge statement he made which made Christians here feel threatened.
Many left. He did that himself - not by majority polls they voted on (to make it even worse). Ignored their reply & did it anyway.
Please try to SEE why the uproar came & it was deserved. Most weren't rude or abusive tho.
