I do agree. There is a difference whether it is just calling someone something or as a conclusion supported by reasons. I do understand this difference and I was not referring to supported claims.

Just as if I make the opposite claim and support it with reason it shouldn't be seen as an attack, but a conclusion. Which then has every right to be refuted, and I will be more the happy to coincide my conclusion if my reasons can be shown to be faulty.

Giving Credit where it is due, thank you Erwin for the changes on the graphics & wording. I think they're enough to help identify that it's at least claiming to be Christian.

My "complaints" aren't anger at you at all - I've been trying to be constructive in what I say because of what I've experienced in debating here - just hoping that eventually if there continue to be problems, you may want to impliment things later on.

You are so correct ! It's clear you sense a different and more positive feeling here today . Isn't the Lord miraculous ? When all hope seems lost it is then that the miracles pour out from above. I am so excited about this I may need to change my title too. Great idea !

I look forward to new battles here, new friendships and bonds of brotherhood.

We now have new challenges ahead of us. WE have dangerous new doctrines to fight and i have a feeling that it is going to take us all, carholic and baptist, charismatic, lutheran, ALL of us banding together, sharpening our swords and fighting side by side guarding young and unlearned souls.

I'm glad to see Erwin listening, but I'm more interested in the deeper format changes than just topical.
You can paint the outside of a barn & make it all pretty & presenting - but if you leave the rickety inside that's ready to fall apart, how helpful is that?
(ie whitewashed tombs)?

As of now, he's established that this site is basically a Christian forum, open to ALL. Probably more unbelievers might join due to the name change... GREAT!
But where's THEIR PROTECTION from the false teaching predators waiting for them to show up.

Maybe it's best if the barn isn't painted to attract MORE to be harmed inside it when the old stuff finally falls apart.?

If Erwin did the proper job, there wouldn't be any need for any Christian to contend against heresy here! (he'd care about protecting others).

I agree with you Nadine that there are dangerous doctrines calling this home now.

I have learned in my lifetime to pick my battles. After the initial changes i worked hard with everyone else to effect change again, and changes have been made. Not that we cant try to effect further change down the road but i believe this is the time to accept some changes are not gonna be reversed.

Now, as for me, i will direct my fight to a new battle, fighting the very things youre talking about here. slashing sword of the Word to expose the doctrines that have founfd a new home here, for exactly what they are, guarding the weak and unlearned through the truth of the word which cannot be refuted.

I will fight along side you in your effort here in the particular forums in need of rebuke, yet in love and hope that the word is revealed and people are converted.

1) I never CLAIMED I was tolerant, CaDan did.
So you may want to "hunt down" the person making the claims for tolerance than myself.

I liken it to being as harmful as AIDS. Both kill. Since we believe those who reject God will ultimately not attain eternal life, it's crucial what they hear and believe.

I see no intollerance as far as personal intollerances are concerned... i see a stand for doctrine. If you were in a school teaching one and one are 3 and you cared how much would you fight? If they insisted on not changing what would you do? Knowing one and one are 2 would you go along with the crowd finally saying it is 3?
