Aaron Dean, the former Fort Worth police officer who killed a woman in her own home, charged with murder - CNN

The former Fort Worth police officer who fatally shot Atatiana Jefferson in her home Saturday morning was arrested and charged with murder Monday, police said.

The officer, Aaron Dean, is being held in the Tarrant County Jail, the Fort Worth Police Department wrote on Twitter. He is being held on a $200,000 bond, according to the Tarrant County Inmate website.
"The family of Atatiana Jefferson is relieved that Aaron Dean has been arrested & charged with murder," Lee Merritt, an attorney for Jefferson's family, said in a statement.
"We need to see this through to a vigorous prosecution & appropriate sentencing. The City of Fort Worth has much work to do to reform a brutal culture of policing."

Not surprised of this. Prayers for Ms Jefferson's family.

Prayers for the Jefferson family, friends and neighbors.

Shooting through the window during a well check visit called in by a neighbor on a non emergency number. There is a lot to investigate here to include what sort of training these police officers are getting.

Which may just come back on the entire department based on their selective release of evidence.
