Hi everyone!!
I've been on here a few weeks, but have neglected to properly introduce myself.
I am a very liberal Christian.....Unitarian in my beliefs. I grew up as an agostic. I became a strict 1st United Pentecostal Christian as an adult. I got away from the legalism of the UPC and became a non-denominational charismatic christian. Then, as my skepticism grew with some of the things going on in charismatic circles, I began to have questions and doubts about many things in Christianity. It's a long story, but this led to me becoming much more liberal in my Christian beliefs.
I spend a lot of time posting on the Randi.org forum. The Amazing Randi is magician turned debunker. I am a skeptic at heart and always have been.
I am very happily married to a wonderfully clever and very intelligent Electrical Engineer. I have three children. A twenty year old son, Steven....a four year old girl, Julia......a one year old boy, Kristopher. My oldest son is from a previous marriage when I was very young!!! He is very close to his little sister and baby brother.
I have one dog and two cats. I live in Texas. I am shy in person. I have a tattoo of a regal Panther wearing a tiara on my back....... near my right shoulder blade.
This seems like such a cool forum. I am glad it is open to people of all beliefs. I believe people can learn and grow from each other.
