Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I mean that fellow Christians may not be be as easy to get forgiveness from as God. Other Christians may judge you harshly long after you've made peace with God.

I see, so not so much though that they are christian, but that they are human. We as humans tend to want forgiveness but not give forgiveness.

I think you are refering to a way of looking whether people can fall away or turn away from Christ. Some believe that once you enter a relationship with God you are saved eternally. However it seems apparent that there are people who fall away from the faith. So it is explained as them not having truly repented to enter into a relationship with Christ, and thus were never saved. I don't think commiting a deliberate sin is unforgivable, or indicates falling away from Christ. Any sin whether it theft, adultery, or having an abortion can be forgiven if the have a repentant heart and accept forgiveness.

I like you opinion, but don't we do just that when we are driving knowing good and well we are going to "fracture" the speed limit. I agree with you don't get me wrong, we should never plan on sinning.

There is absolutely no need for them to be forgiven for having an abortion as there is no sin whatsoever in having an abortion.

Exactly! Having an abortion is not a sin. It is not even a sin if it is a partial birth abortion. Therefore, there is no need for forgiveness because no sin is committed by the woman getting an abortion.

Not at all. Abortion is in no way at all "the murder of a child" and the assertion otherwise is merely unsupportable rhetoric. Never in the history of jurisprudence over millions of years has it been considered as such. The assertion is mere hyperbole, sloganeering by an extreme faction which the public has shown time and time again they are reluctant to make into public policy. Take last month's referendum on the topic in Colorado--it lost by a 75-25% margin. That is dismal for the forces pushing it. People recognize the position for the extremism that it is.

That being said, The question apposed is in the mind set of that a true christian who would not be pro-abortion and abortion would be a sin since the Word of God says:

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb." - Psalms 139:13

- Jeremiah 1:5a

To kill a being God created before they were "known" is murder and therefore a sin.

These are the words on his tomb which seem to indicate that while he was a public face for the plutocracy he was also a liberal humanist. He certainly was when he signed California's liberal abortion law as Governor in 1967.

That being said, The question apposed is in the mind set of that a true christian who would not be pro-abortion and abortion would be a sin since the Word of God says:

That does not follow because the passages are poetry, not descriptions of literal events. Try as they might, the antichoice forces cannot find a "thou shalt not have an abortion" in the Bible though they keep trying to say such things as this suffice. But they do only for those engaged in wishful thinking.

There is no sin whatsoever in abortion. Assertions otherwise remain unproven and unsupportable.
