No so-called church has the right or the authority to change what God has already proclaimed. God isn't interested in the opinions of men, polls, or political correctness. God has already spoken, and that's the way it is - period - end of story. Lovers and promoters of sin will NOT gain acceptance from God. Also, when Jesus said a man has committed adultery in his heart when he looks at a woman to lust after her and when the Apostles answered Him with a "well, then it is better not to marry" answer it is obvious the Apostles and disciples of Jesus were called to a very high standard and a narrow way.

So why do some of you think the gays of today should be given a special concession when the Apostles and early disciples did not receive any special concessions? (See my example above.)

What do you mean, what is my reference? I don't trust the English Bible for anything but the overarching themes, like salvation, Jesus' ministry, etc. Homosexuality is not an overarching or pertinent theme in the magnitude of the Bible.

The Apostles were held to a very high standard. We are not the Apostles. Paul said it is better to marry than burn.

Well, the Torah was delivered to me in Hebrew. I, however, don't recall ever reading much of the Gospel when I converted to Messianic.

The same way people make every idol: they place it before God in order of importance in their lives.

And anybody who ignores what God's word says about the sin of having homosexual sex and goes through the lengths that yall have in this forum to ignore, rewrite and undo what the words on the pages of God's word say, do so because it is more important to you that folks have homosexual sex without being told that it is a sin, than it is for you to be aligned with what God's word says.

PURE, 100% IDOLATRY.
