In Catholic, Anglican and Lutheran Churches. That's what 700, 800, 900 MILLION Christians under attack?

That to me (anyway) would qualify as "mainstream."
Could you maybe explain what you mean by the word "attack"? Because the way you are using it, I don't think its precisely the commonly accepted meaning.

*pat pat* Yes dear. Won't that be nice?

It sure will because things will be back as He has intended for them to be. And those who don't want to abide by HIS rules will unfortunately have their own eternal gathering in the Lake of Fire.

You know what is possibly the most disgusting thing in the world to me?

so called "christians" who seem to revel in the idea of other people being damned for all eternity.

This was the whole reason Hell was created, so others could exert superior influence over people by condemning them to hell for disagreeing. Nothing motivates conversion and towing the party line like threats of eternal torture.

they arent Christians, Christians are those who dont want to see other people being dammed by their sin. God's word says God doesnt wish that any should perish, but all come to repentnance. Christians are those who believe God's word.
Luke 13:5 “I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish."
2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance”

You know what is possibly one of the most disgusting things in the world to me? Folks who don't read what was written.

It's apparently the same problem some of yall have with God's word.

Since when does the word "unfortunately" equate to reveling in people being damned for all eternity?

Jase,
Another subtle jab at me not being Christian Phinehas, because I 100% disagree with your beliefs?
Christians can be in error you know until they see the truth presented. This is what Christ's NT teaching says as well.
2 Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

Saying "its just a joke" when someone dresses up in white sheets and hangs nooses in an African American's tree doesn't alter the nature of the underlying mindset.

Disagreeing with you is not, not recognizing God.

Disagreeing with God's word is not recognizing God.

Amazingly there are several in this forum who attempt to get around that by not acknowledging the word as god's but paul's and John's and anybody but God's.

It would be laughable if not so incredibly sad the lengths that people go through to justify their fornication to themselves.

Homosexuals have twisted the word.
Homosexuals have rejected the word as God's.
Homosexuals have opted for the 99th usage of a word study instead of what the words on the page say.
Homosexuals have adopted the whole rape, pedastery, inhospitality excuse to do away with what the word says.

I mean seriously. The truth just isn't that complicated.

It's IDOLATRY. If fornicating is this important to folks that they have to go through all of these hoops and revisionist tactics to justify homosexual sex, it is because homosexual sex is their god.

if a person spends all of their time trying to defend that which God calls sin while rejecting God's word as god's word, it is because they are upset that somebody has dared to challenge their REAL god.

And it is quite evident that the god of many in this forum is homosexual sex.

I don't have to give an underlying anything when I can say EXACTLY what I intend to say.

And as I said unfortunately, you can go cry wolf up another tree.

I'm a man of God. It wouldn't make any sense for me to share the Gospel with folks and then "revel" in folks going to hell.

So save the red herrings .

Disagreeing with God's word is not recognizing God.

Disagreeing with your literalist 21st century interpretation of something written not in the 21st century, and taking historical and cultural context into account to arrive at the true meaning and true prohibitions being talked about, are not disagreeing with God's word. It's an effort to more fully understand God's word, an effort some people can't be bothered with.

Indeed.

There are three persons in the Godhead. The English Bible is not one of them.

Jase,
What I quoted was the word of God, you were disagreeing with the word of God. If you disagree you are attacking the Christian faith which is faith in God according to His Bibical testimony.

Once again, you are quoting English. You are not quoting the word of God, you are quoting what biased conservative translators decided for themselves God might have said.
