This thread is full of awesome... Phil I have just about everything in my music collection that you've posted so far... Nightwish, Gamma Ray, Blind Guardian, Iron Maiden, Symphony X etc... awesome bands IMO (Shame on you though, Kamelot is the best.... :p Roy Khan is one of the top male vocalists in the metal scene IMO and my personal favorite... But to each his own)

Anyway... "Veruca Salt - Seether"... they remind me of The Donna's. Like wannabe Pat Benatar's or something =P Act tough, dress tough, but the voice aren't aggressive enough to pull it off and just comes off kind of goofy.

Speaking of Pat Benatar...

Pat Benatar - Invincible

My hair is pretty friggen long itself...
Well I haven't listened to Kamelot a whole lot. I guess I can give it another shot...
Here is something I just found randomly. Cool song, strange video.

I'm actually only posting this because the video is so friggen sweet.

Oh and to your video skullet...
I don't really know what I should say about that one. Not really my thing.
Has a nice feel to this though. A nice rythm...

Hell no. It's Skilletdude... not Skulletdude, lol. Skillet was a band I used to like a lot a few years ago.

Skillet - Imperfections

I don't care much for them now but this was one of my favorite songs of theirs.

And Sonata Arctica is pretty good. Honestly not my favorite power metal band overall but they do have some really good awesome stuff out there. As for this particular song... I'm also a fan of the Scorpions and... they did it better :p But it's not a bad cover.

Lol...

Anyway, Theocracy is cool. Awesome lyrics and great music... Laying the Demon to Rest was one of the best on the album IMO but they're all pretty great.

Eluveitie - Thousandfold

^ Eluveitie... from their upcoming album I can't wait to get :D

You don't like Deanna Durbin?

And your song...
I see. You don''t like it because it's not heavy enough for you. That's a shame...

I guess I'll pick a heavier song... This one is heavy-ish... Well It is in the metal genre. Symphonic metal... Well... It's not that heavy but it is in the metal genre still...

I'm sure I've seen a Deanna Durbin movie or two and there's nothing wrong with her version of Silent Night . . . it's nice . . . it's just that if I was ranking my Top 50 favorite Silent Nights, hers would be near the bottom of the list. Nothing to do with wanting a heavier sound, there's just lots of other artists' version that I'd prefer listening to before her.

Metal's not my thing (closest I get is Enter Sandman by Metallica or some GnR) but that wasn't bad because of the symphonic kind of sound AND especially because of the female voice.

Something different from The Boss.
I believe he released this on Halloween which seems fitting....

I thought it was an interesting song. I might have to listen to it again. Pleasant to listen to, and I like the girl's voice!

I'm new to this thread, and for my first song... I want to share something I was introduced to a bit ago by a friend. It's an honest, probing song to Jesus by a Non-Christian, and I thought it was brilliant. A lot of the questions and ideas expressed were ones I could relate to now/when I wasn't a Christian.
