Hi people! :D My name is Minority of One (you can call me Moo for kicks), and I am a music fanatic. This is one of my favorite games to play on threads and, while it's not particularly good for raising your post count, it's great for learning about other people's tastes and for exposing yourself to new and unusual music!

The idea behind the game is this: everyone believes their taste in music is good, and wants to share their favorite songs with you! So what I like to do is have the first poster - me, in this cast, post a song in the thread. Based on past experience, the easiest way to do this is to post a video from youtube with the song's audio. Then, the next person who posts listens to the video/song all the way through, then expresses their opinion on the music. After writing down their thoughts, they post their own video, and poster number 3 listens to and writes about video 2...

tl;dr RULES:
-LISTEN TO the song of the person who posts before you
-POST your opinion of the song.
-LINK to a new song for the next poster to listen to.

Please avoid 'viral' songs, like Chocolate Rain and Never Gonna Give You Up. Please don't post 'funny' or 'interesting' videos in place of songs. Please avoid songs with blatantly anti-Christian lyrics, since this *is* a Christian forum.

Here's my entry!

A classic rock staple. ;o Hope you enjoy the music and the goofy lyrics.

It's all right IMO. I never cared for the "Savage Garden" type vocals (I don't know how else to describe it). A very radio friendly song... not very original lyrics either... but it's all right.

Gamma Ray - Empress

Not a deep song but it sure is fun to listen too IMO. Good driving in the car song :p

Interesting. Lol@ the ending. They stand around for like 30 seconds just standing there. Catchy tune though.

Kamelot - Forever

Kamelot - Forever. The voice of God must indeed be amazing if this is only a human singing. Say what you will about the song but Roy Khan is hands down my favorite male vocal performer ever and Kamelot is one of my top 5 favorite bands and my number 1 favorite band to watch perform live. Plus their live stuff sounds so much better than the studio version so I linked a live video :D

As I don't usually listen to metal, it's no surprise that I've never heard of them. However, that was great. I really liked it. Definitely the hallmark of truly good musical talent is the ability to play well live, which they certainly do.

Well that was pretty awesome. Never heard of them but they remind me of like a more serious, less cheesy, more folksy version of AleStorm which I like a lot. Love the whole folk thing they have going on. I actually have to get some stuff from them. I went and checked out their other stuff and they have some awesome songs. "Johnny I Hardly Knew Ya" and "Flannigan's Ball" are great. (Although I could swear I've heard similar songs before or similar lyrics as I recognized parts from both but they were done MUCH differently and not nearly as awesome).

I've always thought Judas Priest to be like a cross between Ministry and Guns 'n Roses. Not in my usual listening repertoire, but I certainly don't hate it either.

Here's another from the Dropkick Murphys- State of Massachusetts:

It's considered Steam Punk, but I'm pretty sure that Abney Park was once just a goth type of band.

Gamma Ray is classic metal and it's definitely alright I think. :)

Vernian Process- Crime of the Century (wherein the singer sounds very David Bowieish):
