My heart breaks more and more everyday. What a world for the children to live in.

Teenage girls are forced to work as prostitutes.

I agree, it's so sad that we have to live in a world like this. It's so dangerous to be out! Even a nextdoor neighbor could be a murderer and a raper. You just don't know!

Should definitely pray for everyone's saftey, though

The kind of world I want to live in

(for the children!!)
I want to live in a world where people are happy because they
have enough. Where little boys and girls don't go to sleep with
tummy aches because of hunger pangs. Where big boys and girls
can go to school because it is their right to learn about
the world around them. Where Moms and Dads have decent jobs
so that they can enjoy life as a happy family.

I want to turn on the news and hear of new discoveries and
scientific breakthroughs. Of a cure for AIDS and cancer.
And computers faster than before.
Not of people dying in earthquakes or a collapsed floor.
Nor of people depending on drugs and other addictions.

I want to live in a world where people are balanced and
happy. Where people don't grovel or grumble. Where people
smile and are serene. All because they have enough.

Hi, I wrote this shortly after watching the news..and hearing of this collapsed floor at a wedding in Israel. Just thought I'd post it here...I am procrastinating sleep... : )

I have a broken heart for the children too.


As a parent we can put God's covering of protection on them when they leave for school in the morning. I do every morning. We put them under God's care.


We can also make sure that their little lights are shining in this world of darkness. As Christians we can send our little believers off to school knowing that they can make a difference in another child's life.

I am proud of my two boys. They are 10 and 13 and they are very bold witnesses for Christ. More so sometimes than I am.

We need to remeber to pray for all of the children who are lost lonely hungry or hurting.

I love the Lord.

One of the hardest things for me as a Christian to accept and understand is why God does not intercede when it comes to children being hurt.

I know, we have free will. It is man that is responsible for such evil done to children. I know God's Will is ultimately done.

But sometimes I just can't bear it. The pain those children had to go through...Oh God why????? Why doesn't He step in and stop it?
