That's kind of true, in the future life, in the adventure of searching for God, very little of my primitive concepts will survive and a future age of a much more enlightened people will look back with some amusement at our concepts in this age. But the Atheist won't fair any better, you wont look back.

Yes, they will see equal amusement in your concepts of God and the FSM. That's the whole point.

I should have mentioned that Greek mythology did have some basis for its belief in various Gods, it evolved from things that occurred thousands of years earlier. Those myths grew and developed into the Greek Pantheon.

I wasn't under the impression that you were going to take my claims seriously from the outset, I've read through your pretentious history here on the Christian forum. You get some sort of sick satisfaction out of trying to undermine peoples faith. That is who you are, your fruit is rotten.

I noticed you were defensive right from the beginning - that´s why I kept explaining the actual point of the FSM-analogy time and time again to you.
Now, I can´t help you out of your prejudices and uncharitable preassumptions. Also, I am aware that you are probably just as convinced of your psychic powers when it comes to reading my intentions as you are of your supernatural beliefs.
Fact, however, is that you are wrong. When it comes to knowing my intentions I happen to be world´s leading expert, and you are not.
It has never been my intention to undermine anybody´s faith - as far as I am concerned everyone is welcome to believe in whatever "supernatural" truth they believe in. In my opinion, the allegedly "supernatural" (in lack of a working epistemology) is the legitimate playground for whatever helps us through the night.

In your defense, I am willing to assume that part of the problem was possibly that you haven´t fully noticed that this is the philosophy forum (not General Apologetics or Christian Apologetics); furthermore that the God of your particular concept has never actually been the point of discussion; and that my request was a totally legitimate philosophical question, and the delivery in form of a reductio absurdum a tried, tested an accepted method.
