The FSM is clearly in the lead at this point.
May you all be touched by his noodly appendage.
You didn't prove anything other than you live inside of a sad, closed minded theory that you use as a filter for anything to the contrary.
But my people come from Scotland, I figure they came to the new world in search of more booze. So we at least have that in common.
Ha ha ha, now who has the bald assertions. Message for Scotsman, your philosophy of life is morbid, it has no appeal to real truth seekers.
Do you presume to speak for all truth seekers now?
The I AM is primacy, the Trinity liberates the Father from its inherent limitations.
Your demand for proofs of the consciousness of spirit perception is a cowards bluff.
Nice deepities. So then it would follow that belief without proof is brave.
It's not believing without proof. It's believing without seeing.
...and in some instances, it's not even that.
Well that is the same thing. You are saying that your beliefs can not be tied to perception. If so then how are the concepts formed. Logic is a process of non-contradictory identification and integration of the material brought to us by the senses. Do you have some other non-sensory means of acquiring knowledge? If so what is it and how does it work? Can You describe it in a way that I can verify it with my five senses?
It's not the same thing. Also, I did say that some people have seen.
Which is better: believing without seeing or believing with seeing?
Who is this "we" that you speak for? How can you be sure anyone else believes?
Well, according to God:
John 20:29;
"Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
OK great. Thank you very much for a direct answer even if it is in the form of a Bible quote.
So it is better to believe without seeing. How are these beliefs informed then if they are not reducible to sensory perception? Is it by some non-sensory means?
Welcome to Christianforums.com. For those unaware, "Christian" means "Christ follower." Usually that would denote belief.
How can you be sure the sky is blue? How do you know 9/11 happened? Are you sure you woke up today? What if it's like The Matrix?
Why so evasive? I asked you a simple question: How can you be sure anyone else believes?
I don't know if it's better or not, it's just a blessing.
These beliefs are informed without seeing. There's more to our faith than a visual confirmation.
Why not? Is it not possible that those around you, claiming to believe, are simply putting up a false front?I'm not going to answer a question like that.
From all appearances, yes. I am here to observe the vast and intricate rationales that theists devise to explain why gods are, in every external, objective respect, indistinguishable from nothing.Who do you think I am? Do you think I'm here to amuse you, Davian?
Also, it's "Why are you so evasive?" I think you've watched too much Batman.
Why not? Is it not possible that those around you, claiming to believe, are simply putting up a false front?
From all appearances, yes. I am here to observe the vast and intricate rationales that theists devise to explain why gods are, in every external, objective respect, indistinguishable from nothing.
