I live in Jacksonville and was raised in Palm Harbor (Tampa Bay area). I went to Cypress Woods Elementary School and Tarpon Springs Middle School before moving to Cincy for high school and Kentucky for college. I just moved to Jax in March and love it here so far.

I am from St. Pete near tampa. I'm in Gainesville for the summer, and I go to school in Atl., but I always stay true to st. pete, fl.

I absolutely love the rain that we have had in the recent weeks. It's so beautiful. I like thunderstorms; I can sleep better, relax better, think better... I like to run and play soccer a lot, and it's best in the rain

This is pretty cool. I've seen about 7 or 8 people from my county and two from my town. Everyone else probably just passes through us here in Melbourne trying to get to Miami or West Palm.

i like to call them Florida Crackers.... and I AM ONE! my dad was born in Miami... my mom was born in Illinois on vacay... so she lived here all her life.. and my dad lived here all his life.... and i have lived here all my life and i neve plan to leave except for college ... i know im double posting.. sorry

Hurricane Dennis is officially declared a catergory 3 and a hurricane warning has been issued from Key West to the seven mile bridge, and a tropical storm warning is in effect for the rest of the keys, along with a watch for the rest of us South Floridians (Miami-Dade county)!! Woohoo!!

Same here...we kept taking our laptop to places like Starbucks on the mainland!!
We were without power for 9 days with Frances and about 4 with Jeanne.
