Hey it's Christmas time! There's supposed to be a lil chill in the air and maybe even some frost on the pumpkin. . . . . and as long as we don't have to chip in to pay Palatka's electricity bill (it's HIS freezer that's open & causing this ;) ) - enjoy it! ^_^

WOW! So many Floridians!

I just moved to TITUSVILLE about a month ago. YEAH! I'm talking about the CAPE baby! LOL. I sound so stupid. But for real, I live really close to Cape Canaveral if any of yall know where that is. Of course you know where it is. :) I just saw a rocket go up today, all I had to do was go out on my balcony. cool huh?

but I lived in Circus County, i mean uh CITRUS County ha ha for about 2 years. I liked to call it (geographically speaking) the ARMPIT of Flordia. hee, hee...

Hey Floridians, how are yall liking the cold weather? perfect for the holidays. not really, its reaching 30 degrees at night. Burrrrr!!!!

God bless,
Haley

I can't wait for the shuttles to start launching again. I would realy like to go down and see one. I remember watching the SaturnV/Apollo launches in the early 70's. Now that was raw power. The ground would tremble miles away from the launch site.

Crystal River....I know exactly where that is! The famous Manatee Festival takes place there. I went for the past 2 years and last year, and it was FREEEEZING. It was very unusual. Crystal River/Citrus County is NO place for teenagers, thats for sure. I am so glad I got out of there.

BTW, we just had a launch a couple of weeks ago, it was the heaviest launch for over 20 years. It was so cool, our whole condos were just rumbling. You are very right....nothing but sheer, raw power.
Not to be Debbie Downer or anything, but one of the men who live here at the condos took a picture of the Challenger explosion right when it happened, I mean right when it exploded. It was so weird how he took the picture at the right second. He got thousands for the picture, sold it to somebody or another. Like I said, dont' mean to put a damper on things and I dont know why I am talking about money when lives were lost....

But I cant wait until a shuttle goes up...I think May is the next launch. They better let us out of school to watch it, I mean let us go outside at least.

God bless!

I'm in Citrus County also - Inverness. I can understand how it might not hold much interest for a teen, but let me tell you us baby-boomers love it. And the weather this week is going to be sunny and 80's for 7 days straight - I don't think you can beat this anywhere else in the states!

Hey everyone!
I'm a born miamian, but I haven't lived there since is was 6. I miss it....even thought I still go there like every weekend to visit family. Anyway, I live in Ft.Lauderdale, literally 2 seconds away from Pompano Beach. My Church home is Coral Ridge~Home of the wonderful Dr.Kennedy:) You know, one of the best things that I love about my location is being able to walk to the beach. It's awesome to be able to get away on the boat too:) Speaking of boat, it's tan time! ttyl! xoxo ~God Bless~
