You see here an example of your accusations. Two of the people on this trip are Christians - Will Duffy, who says the earth is a globe, and Lisbeth Acosta, who says the earth is flat.

Neither of them can be accused of lying because both went and saw the same 24 hour sun in Antarctica. And neither of them called the other a liar. Lisbeth Acosta now needs to rethink her belief as the 24 hour sun does not fit with a flat earth.

Dean Odle has been caught lying. You won’t accept that but it doesn’t change the fact that he has.

Your only reason for calling the TFE people liars is because you don’t want to believe them. You have nothing else. Such an accusation is unwarranted and wrong.

Your interpretation of Scripture is just that -an interpretation. And the reason people such as me don’t agree with your interpretation is because it does not match reality. If you insist on your interpretation being correct, then you bring the Bible into disrepute.

And yes, scientific discoveries do get closer and closer to God’s word all the time. But the problem for you is that the globe earth is more confirmed with every move.

This is not all down to my own interpretation, I do know how the same words can have different meanings & I do know how to look up strong's or lexicon as this is what Dean does & he always proves this within his sermons. So no, I do not blindly swallow what Dean says or any Pastor for that matter.

There were billions of problems in the world before NASA was even heard of.

How many ways are there ?

Well for a start there's the "every word of my English Bible is perfect, accurate and never to be questioned", approach.
There there's the, "everything written in the Bible has to be practised by us today" approach - even though it was written in a different language, culture and we don't have synagogues, keep the Jewish law, wear robes and sandals etc.
There are also people who believe that the KJV alone is perfect - ignoring recent scholarship and discoveries like the dead sea scrolls. If there is a difference between a recent Bible and the KJV it will always be the recent bible which is at fault.
There are also people who believe that looking at the original languages of the Bible, considering the context of the words, the type of writing, the author's motive for writing and the situations going on at the time is just trying to "explain a passage away", or "get out of believing it." Sometimes these people, when they hear others talking about study, the original languages etc will accuse those people of not believing the Bible.

MC Toon went in person to see the debate between Odle and Locke. He personally got in touch with Pastor Dean to inform him of his error regarding the 'flatness' of the playing field. Pastor Dean basically told him off for questioning an elder and refused to back down from his false claims. That's the only reason MC Toon went public, because Pastor Dean believed that he was above reproach. All he had to do was make a statement that he was mistaken about the playing field and remove that part of the video. The unedited video is still up on his website and he has made no apology.

You don't get it. The shape of the earth is not important - believe it is a different shape every week if you like; who cares? It will not save you, condemn you nor make you a better Christian.
What you changed your mind about was asking for God's help in dealing with any doubts or being tempted to believe again that the earth is flat.
You SAID, "flat earth is a load of nonsense ........ I know it will be hard to accept this and I will struggle, but with God's help I will get there."
Then a few weeks later you see a FE video on YouTube, and instead of asking God to give you the strength not to watch it (as you had claimed you would), you said "ooh good, God is guiding me - hey everybody I'm back on track."

That's the sad bit.
Jesus said "my sheep listen to my voice", John 10:27. He said that the Holy Spirit guides us and leads us into truth, John 16:13.
Christians have been listening to God and receiving the guidance of his Spirit for centuries. You come along and say "God is guiding me through YouTube" - a secular, man-made invention.
