You've already said that you don't understand science and find it "tedious". I sympathise; I do too. Or maybe not so much tedious as difficult to understand.
The only difference is that I am prepared to trust the experts; those who have studied, experimented and know more than I do. Whereas, because you don't understand, you make fun of it - after looking on that well-known, scientific website, YouTube to find clips from people who are also making fun of it.
