The funny thing about this is that, after doing an admittedly quick search, I can't find where Dr David L Cooper says anything about the shape of the earth in Scripture. He was not a flat earth proponent. He seems primarily focused on God's plan for mankind, Jesus as the Messiah and God's promises to Israel. I can't find a single thing about the shape of the earth amongst his book titles or a google search on his name and flat earth.

You just said he wasn’t a flat earther. Add to that (as far as I can tell) he never wrote about it or spoke about it. Add to that he lived at a time when the shape of the earth was accepted as a globe, and had been for thousands of years.

It is a fundamental truth that is not found in Scripture, rather it is found through observation. There are a great many fundamentally true things that are never mentioned in Scripture. Scripture never claims to contain all fundamental truths.

When the plain sense of scripture makes common sense, seek no other sense. Therefore, take every word at its primary, ordinary, usual, literal meaning; Meaning when the scriptures make sense (logic) we are to take every word as literal.

Rubbish. The earth is known to be a globe from eyewitness testimonies of Christian astronauts. You have called them liars based on nothing but your own dodgy interpretation of Scripture.

You also ignore your own evidence of the sun and moon appearing bigger when they rise, which completely contradicts flat earth. And you have utterly failed to explain this observation in the context of flat earth. That all means it is YOU who has been indoctrinated.

Complete nonsense. An observation either matches what we expect with the globe model or it doesn't. If it doesn't match what we expect then it falsifies the model. It doesn't care what we think or feel or want to believe, it either supports the model or it falsifies the model.

Every observation supports the globe model and falsifies the flat earth model. None of the explanations given by flat earthers for what we observe stand up to scrutiny. These are the simple facts.

But that is exactly what one would expect to see from a rotating earth. Imagine an ant on a ball. If that ball were to start rotating, would the ant see it rotating? Of course not - everything around the ball would appear to be moving, from the ant's viewpoint.

Which fits what we would observe from a rotating globe, right down to the angle of the sun and moon at different latitudes, to the different constellations visible between the north and south hemispheres. The major air and ocean currents correspond to the correolis effect which would not exist if the earth were not a rotating globe. Celestial navigation is only possible because the earth is a globe.
