You can think what you want about what I appreciate but it means nothing unless you address the issue:
Is 8" per mile squared the curve formula for a 24,000 mile. Circumference globe or not?
You totally dismiss that and move the goalpost to an edge approach.

First of all, FE people don't claim to have all the answers.
You need to address issues rather than move goalposts.

If your concern is credibility, bother to show some.

Not top or bottom. The edge. If it's flat then it has edges. Where are they
FYI, in the August 1931 issue of Popular Science, August Piccard observed the earth from 50,000 feet and said it looked like a flat fish with upturned edges.
I trust him.

That's a cop out allegation that can work both ways.
Is the 8" per mile squared an acceptable curve formula of a 24,000 circumference globe or not?
If yes, then do the math against the observation of Chicago fro across 54 miles of Lake Michigan.

Your complaint about lack of addressing specifics is not completely true.

Right? In their mind it must be the largest global(for lack of a better word...) conspiracy in the history of mankind.

And for what? There's literally no net gain to lie about it.
Not that you can see.
Do you see everything?

Not true.
Address the curve.
What's an acceptable formula to describe the curve of the eafth?

Yes, that was an off topic discussion with Hieronymus about conspiracy theories in general, not the FE question. I’ve seen some FE assertions about this or that.

I asked a valid question, which you ignored / avoided.

If you don't want a reasonable discussion, you won't get one.

I'll try again, has the flat earth ever been mapped, do those maps differ from global maps?
Of course it has.
The Mercator Projection used on the UN flag is it.
More continents outside the first dome have been mapped.
I've seen models with as many as three domes.
Global maps differ even from each other.

Are YOU willing to address the curve? No common sense science believing anti-conspiracy normal people seem willing or able to answer if 8" per mile squared is accurate enough to describe the earth's curve or why we can see Chicago from across 54 miles of curved Lake Michigan (curved every bit as much as the PacificOcean)

I spent an afternoon and evening at Dunes State Park and saw it down to the waterline. But I believe it was Rob Skiba who got in a boat at the 54 mile mark on the Michigan shore and videotaped the skyline down to the first few floors all the way across the lake to disprove refraction.
If one is sincerely interested, it isn't hard to find even greater distance observations on YouTube.

... do the math against the observation of Chicago fro across 54 miles of Lake Michigan.
Skyline Skepticism: The Lake Michigan Mirage

"To those that doubt affects of refraction. The full Chicago skyline should be visible all the time if it weren't the case, barring clouds, rain or fog. However that’s not the case, it is always changing. I encourage anyone to go look for themselves."

As readers can see by this list, there are no Diversion Airports anywhere near Antarctica so no two engine aircraft can fly a route bringing it close to the continent.
