What a singular disappointment.

Not an informative word was actually uttered about evolutionary biology in that entire 30 minute conversation. It's just Cremo waxing lyrical about various (unsubstantiated) Vedic beliefs, with an obligatory reference to Eisenstein/relativity and a tiny bit of modern (as in, last 200 years) philosophy.

If I took a drink for every time Cremo said the word "cycle", I'd be dead from alcohol poisioning.

I must say he is hard to listen to, he really drones on.

So far after 7 minutes he hasn't really said how exactly how he believes life came about. All I have got so far is he believes in long times followed by dormant times and avatars.
Maybe you have something more concise? Perhaps you can outline what you believe?

I also got vaccinated today and have a headache so it may not be the best time to listen.

Not only does the Bible not say the earth is flat, but atheists weren't the ones who first determined that it was round, either.

Wasn't the determination that the Earth is round first figured out by a Pagan? Pythagoras's name comes up in Google as that person. But I wonder if there wasn't someone before him.

Eratosthenes. Pythagoras thought the Earth was round, but only because he found it more aesthetic.
