Flat Earth: Why doesn't a Plane's altitude meter (gyroscope) pitch up and down if it's a round earth

Hi,

As we got further and further away, it [the Earth] diminished in size. Finally it shrank to the size of a marble, the most beautiful you can imagine. That beautiful, warm, living object looked so fragile, so delicate, that if you touched it with a finger it would crumble and fall apart. Seeing this has to change a man.

Hi,

Suddenly, from behind the rim of the Moon, in long, slow-motion moments of immense majesty, there emerges a sparkling blue and white jewel, a light, delicate sky-blue sphere laced with slowly swirling veils of white, rising gradually like a small pearl in a thick sea of black mystery. It takes more than a moment to fully realize this is Earth . . . home.

Do you realize that both astronauts were free masons? James Irwin is completly ignoring the verses about the "firmament", the four corners of the eart etc.

None of these people went to the moon.

Hi,

I don't want to get sidetracked, but I guess something is wrong with masons, according to you. And, no I did not know they were masons, nor do I know why that is an issue. I will save it for later.

My only encounter with masons is one man's attempt to get us all to join. He wouldn't let up on us at work. Finally I agreed to do research on his statement about Masons. I found two separate situations where what he said about them was false, research wise, and I presented that to him.

He became very angry. Later one of the guys who is used to me, told him that no matter how nuts I sound, my research is very sound, and he will soon find he is wrong, even if it takes him years to admit it. In two weeks he retracted. That is perhaps the shortest time, I have been opposed for presenting research.

By the way, I have presented no research to you yet. I have only asked if you would take a balloon ride, or a MIG ride, to see for yourself.

Again, what does Space, NASA, Freemasonry, etc have to do with the shape of the Earth?

You have still yet to explain seasons or equinoxes, the "ship rising out of the water" phenomenon that you see when you're watching incoming ships at a port city, you've still yet to explain how Eratosthenes somehow calculated the Earth's size to within 16 percent (and perhaps up to 2 percent accurate).

The link you provided did give some insight: He could have been as much as 16% off, or as accurate as 2%. Still, 16% error is a pretty good guess for using a couple poles and some trigonometry. And that 16% error is with the continents of North and South America included which Eratosthenes didn't even know existed.

As far as how far away the Sun actually is, well. Even if it were up close, that still doesn't explain the Equator, the Northern&Southern Hemisphere Behavior, etc.

You've yet to even touch that point. Meanwhile, Eratosthenes's calculations using very primitive means, came to within 2-16% accuracy based on what we know based upon geography and measurements we've taken of the land masses and how far they are away from each other, ocean maps, etc. This is including the fact that Eratosthenes could not have known North&South America even existed.

Again, loads of evidence that says Round Earth is right, and.... almost zero to say that Flat Earth could even be possible let alone right.

Most of the phenomena that we observe today is impossible with the model you're trying to present.

And please stop bringing up Freemasonry, Government Conspiracies, NASA, etc. That has nothing to do with the subject whatsoever, as you can come up with a load of evidence for Round Earth just by standing on the ground (or flying in the air) in various places.

LOVE,

No reason to. There are a lot of hot air balloon videos on youtube. Most of them have a fish eyed lens to hide the flat earth (You can tell easily because the curvature starts going from concave to flat to convex rapidly).

Hi,

And what about the panorama found here? http://media.airspacemag.com/images/V2-panorama.jpg

ONLY one picture does not show a curved surface.

I didn't bring up the topic on the masons, you did. You were saying how James Irwin was a christian astronaut. How can that be when he is part of free mason lodge (and was a higher order) when the lodge's mission statement promotes satanism.

The bible also forbids secret societies.

You haven't even done an iota of research. This has already been discussed more than a million times, the Flat Earth clues sums it all up.

Eratosthenes assumed the earth was a sphere and the distance of the sun was millions of miles away. He, along with other "wise men of earth", convinced the masses that it was a round earth (it was a very slow process).

OK Third request:

Can you put up a picture or a sketch that shows your concept of the earth? Please.

I already posted it multiple times.

220px-Orlando-Ferguson-flat-earth-map_edit.jpg

Seems to be the most biblical. It has the four corners, the dome, edge seal (ice caps), and firmament.

It fits the azimuthal equidistant projection:
300px-Azimuthal_equidistant_projection_SW.jpg

Which is what the U.N, the World Health Organization, the International Meterology organization and countless other organizations are using.

Even the USGS, the world's mapmaker is using the same map....CREATED IN THE 11th CENTURY!!!!!

That's funny because the official video footage of that launch shows flat earth:

In my opinion, the whole thing is a CGI.

Hi,

Only that still photo from the camera footage looks flat, the rest do not. I have watched it twice now. All the rest of the footage is showing a round earth. This panorama http://media.airspacemag.com/images/V2-panorama.jpg Is from that footage.

Look closely, you will see your image there also.

Please upload that panorama and post it here.

LOVE,

The video does not show any curvature!

Look at the speed of the ascension from the ground starting at the 30 second mark. Compare that to the ascension of today's NASA launches (compare the speed of the ascension from the ground).

It's in the statrosphere in 20 seconds. No the video is not sped up.

The whole thing is Hollywood manufactured garbage in a studio.

The video is not real. Also look at the dark spots under the clouds, is that meant to be a shadow!?!?!?

Hi,

For you I am willing to watch it a third time. I doubt the earth's curvature will change on the third watching of that video, but it might.

http://media.airspacemag.com/images/V2-panorama.jpg

As you recall, in those days individual frames, about 24 per second were taken, in all the motion pictures back then.

When those individual frames were printed and put together this resulted:

Your picture, the one you quote as proof of a flat earth from that camera is only the sixth frame to the right or so. Indeed that frame, and maybe one or two others are hard to see the earths curvature.

Many of the others the curvature is inescapably obvious, and with the ground and clouds all lining up from frame to frame, there is no ambiguity in the pictures.

Note the landmarks. They are numbered.

Great! The one I have been posting is a little bigger but the same.

By observation;
  • Near the end of June the sun appears to circle directly overhead to someone standing on the Tropic of Cancer, roughly between Florida and Cuba
  • Near the end of March and near the end September the sun appears to circle directly overhead to someone standing on the equator
  • Near the end of December the sun appears to circle directly overhead to someone standing on the Tropic of Capricorn, roughly through Australia.

On your flat earth representations, the circles the sun makes are smaller in June and larger in December and back to being smaller the following June.

One simple question, and please just answer in your own words. No links, no quotes from links.

How do you account for the changes in the size of the suns's circles?

No, the math doesn't add up.

The camera had 24 frames per second.
The V-2 rocket had a top speed of 1 mile per second.
In 20 seconds, it reaches into the stratosphere.

Please give us the minute mark on the V-2 launch video which shows the curvature.
