Fake, like everything trotted out by FE people.If you watched the video of the high altitude balloon video.. they went to 100,000 feet and without a fish eye lense, there was no evidence of a curve. It's in this thread. Check it out.
I don't agree. All the FE people I've dealt with reject every bit of evidence that either proves the earth is a globe or disproves FE. Believing the earth is flat is not the issue. Not accepting the evidence against a flat earth is the problem. It demonstrates a level of gullibility that may lead them to much more serious errors in the future. The world is getting ever more deceptive with AI and the ability to create deep fakes that are quite convincing. If people are fooled by FE deceptions, how much more susceptible they are to more convincing deceptions.Salvation is such a debated topic. It was, by design, not supposed to be difficult or complicated.
However, I would argue that people who believe in the FE respect the truth very much and are willing to ask questions of things that those who just sit in a chair at home... accept as fact because someone told them something.
Who has more respect for the truth.... a person who believes everything that they are told..... or someone who questions everything until they are satisfied with the evidence that they uncover to come to their belief in what is true?
Nobody is right in all their beliefs in what is true.
However, truth doesn't care how many people belief in it... It is absolute.... even if nobody knows it or believes it to be so.

Yes, truth is absolute. But we live in an age where truth is no longer of much value. And this is exactly what Satan needs in order to deceive the world with the Antichrist. CS Lewis warned that this time would come. He was far from the only one to see this coming.
I first heard FE arguments only a few years ago. When I finished laughing, I decided to answer the FE questions and false statements with the facts. I soon found that it was pointless. The only reason I answer FE claims now is to help those who might be questioning the global earth point of view. And I have not the slightest idea why FE proponents think it their duty to convince the rest of us that the earth is flat.

They are, He made the stars also.But silicon isn't mentioned in the Scriptures anywhere, yet you seem happy to recognise it as an element with certain properties which enable the manufacture of the components in your camera and computer. Why the double standard?
Just because planets aren't mentioned in the Scriptures why do you insist on calling them after one of the things that is?
That's what about 3 inches across photo the 2d photo won't represent a 3d curvature.This picture of the Thorntonbank offshore windpark in front of the Belgian coast perfectly shows the earth curvature.View attachment 340830
He created two great lights one to rule the day and one to rule the night. In what bible verse does it say those are the sun and moon?About God's creation, no not in just one post before. But my beliefs are based on simply believing what is stated in The Bible. For an example in The Bible it is stated God created two great lights. So i believe that verse as is stated, that God actually created two great lights, the sun and moon.
So i do not let science affect my reading interpretation of Bible creation verses. So i do not believe God created the sun which is a great light and then turn around and say the moon is not actually a light but reflects the light of the sun.
The Bible plainly states God created two great lights and not a great light and a light reflector.
It isn't demonstrating curvature on the horizon. The fact that the bottoms of the windmills are obscured by the horizon demonstrates that the surface of the earth curves downwards in the distance.That's what about 3 inches across photo the 2d photo won't represent a 3d curvature.
Yah yes, my apologies you were referring to directly straight out. I thought you meant side to side lol.It isn't demonstrating curvature on the horizon. The fact that the bottoms of the windmills are obscured by the horizon demonstrates that the surface of the earth curves downwards in the distance.
He created two great lights one to rule the day and one to rule the night. In what bible verse does it say those are the sun and moon?
What verse is that? And from what bible. When did the stars become great also?-
To Him who laid out the earth above the waters,
For His mercy endures forever;
To Him who made great lights,
For His mercy endures forever—
The sun to rule by day,
For His mercy endures forever;
The moon and stars to rule by night,
For His mercy endures forever.
That is the physical curvature, but any visual references must take refraction into consideration. We can often see objects which would otherwise be hidden by the horizon due to refraction which can vary significantly according to conditions.Yah yes, my apologies you were referring to directly straight out. Earth curvature is 8 inches per mile that can be physically measured with survey equipment.
That would be from one of the PsalmsWhat verse is that? And from what bible. When did the stars become great also?
Yes weather can effect how much a person can see and their eye strength. The physical curvature would be the same regardless of the refraction.That is the physical curvature, but any visual references must take refraction into consideration. We can often see objects which would otherwise be hidden by the horizon due to refraction which can vary significantly according to conditions.
Yes but the sun and moon is used for distinguishing days years seasons etc. The greatlights are for ruling.That would be from one of the Psalms
<edit>
Psalm 136

I consider the Psalms to be inspired of the Holy Spirit. Do you not?Yes but the sun and moon is used for distinguishing days years seasons etc. The greatlights are for ruling.
Gen 1
14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to distinguish between the day and the night, and let them be signs to mark the seasons and days and years.
Why wouldn't I, ?I consider the Psalms to be inspired of the Holy Spirit. Do you not?
Well, you seem to be implying otherwise with your earlier responses. You asked @d taylor what verse and bible version he was quoting when he responded to your earlier post and I've provided you with that, but you seem to be suggesting that Genesis trumps the Psalms when they are both inspired by God.Why wouldn't I, ?
No I didn't suggest anything trumps anything, that's what your going off of when you excused me of not believing? hmm...Well, you seem to be implying otherwise with your earlier responses.
