First doctor's appointment!

Well, tomorrow (I guess it's today already: Friday) is my first visit to the OB/GYN. Yeah, I waited way longer than I should have so I'm fidgeting to know eveything is ok on one hand and a little scared on the other. This will be my first doctor's visit in years (first ever to a GYN) and I'm terribly needle-phobic. I just have to keep reminding myself not to be selfish in this, my tadpole is depending on me!

So if you could, just offer up a quick prayer for courage and tadpole.

If it helps I've been really sick during my pregnancy and had plenty of needles, in and out of my arms/but it doesn't hurt a bit when they do it really quick...

Everything went well for the appointment. It was a little scary but mom went with me for most of it. I got to hear my tadpole's heartbeat! The doctor said it was very active and kept running away from the mic thingy So basically all that happened was pee in a cup and they drew blood. I had the nicest nurse do my 3 vials of blood-drawing-ness. Everyone in that office was sweet as can be. I was planning on making sure everything was going alright and starting with a midwife but I think I wouldn't be opposed to staying with this office for the remainder of the pregnancy and birth.
I'm schedualed for an ultrasound tomorrow so yey! And I just started my 19th week yesterday~ Thank you for the prayers!
