You can carry on telling yourself that lie if it makes you happy. Evolution is proven beyond all reasonable doubt.
.
Where and how, I haven't seen it in this discussion yet.

Are you a Creationist, Evolutionist, or an Evolutionists, Creationist.
If you cannot believe that God Created everything, how then can you believe your Saved?
If Creation is a lie, then so is your Salvation.

Creation is not a lie, but it did not happen in six days 6,000 years ago.

I never mentioned 6,000 yrs. nor anyone else in this whole thread.
Your not listening, your assuming what people mean rather than understanding what they actually said.

Why not 6 days?

You can't have it both ways, it's either Evolution, or Creation those are the choices.

Why not 6 days?

Because the overwhelming scientific evidence to the contrary cannot simply be ignored.

So says you. The vast majority of Christians outside of America would beg to differ.

"Six days" was shown to be wrong a long long time ago. And there are many different Christian beliefs. There is not one single official "Christian version".

I missed your answers to the two questions, are they are "ill formed"? How should they have been phrased so as to be "formed" properly? I admit to having very poor linguistic skills so educate me here and give me an example from an expert, can you do that? Oh no, another "ill formed" question no doubt.
The point is that sometimes you need to know a little about a topic before you can ask sensible questions. For example, if you asked a car engine designer where the phlogiston goes when the engine is running, they would tell you the question doesn't make sense, there is no phlogiston, the question is 'ill-formed'.

In the case of your question about the 'first mammal that was born', there's no more a clear answer to that than to the question 'on which hour of which day of which year did you reach puberty?'

Does that help explain the problem with your questions?

Just what is your overwhelming scientific evidence.
I haven't see what you got, I haven't been given the opportunity to ignore it yet.......Give me the chance first.

Then the Church is in a lot more trouble than I thought.

Why? One does not need to believe the myths of Genesis to be a Christian. Most Christians seem to think of them as morality tales. They are still of value, but not meant to be taken as the "gospel truth".

ETA: I see that you used upper case for "The Church". Are you Catholic? The Catholic Church has no problem with the theory of evolution. They learned their lesson from Galileo.

So much for your argument about not being an authority on the subject, what are your credentials to speak about what truth is when you believe the lie of Evolution?

When you become a Christian I will consider what you say.

What are you talking about? And the one that obviously believes a "lie" is you. Plus you seem to know it. I asked you a question twice and you ducked twice. A third time is the same as you admitting that you are wrong:

Do you believe that gravity is proven?

ETA: I did not claim to be an authority on any subject. I only gave to you facts that are easily confirmed.

No you did not claim to be an authority on any subject, but you did advise another poster to gain an education on the sciences before speaking what he believed to be true.
It's called tit for tat.

You are not now, nor will you have an understanding of the things contained in the Bible, until you become a Christian.

Your so called facts are proven, where?

Simple question.
Would you jump out of a plane without a parachute?

And three times and you are out.

By your standards the theory of evolution is "proven". But then you don't even know what a theory is.

The poster obviously had no education in the sciences, just as you don't. One does not need to be an "authority" to see that. You are completely oblivious to the errors that you have made. There is no "tit for tat" in such a situation.

You are not now, nor will you have an understanding of the things contained in the Bible, until you become a Christian.

That is a ridiculous claim that you cannot support. Once again, I was a Christian and it was by understanding the Bible that I became an atheist.

Your so called facts are proven, where?
Which facts are you contending?

I haven't see what you got, I haven't been given the opportunity to ignore it yet.......Give me the chance first.

If you want to know what the evidence is, go and pick up one of the many books, written by biologists, for the layman. For example:

"Darwin's Gift: To Science and Religion" - Francisco Ayala
"Creation or Evolution: Do We Have to Choose?" - Denis Alexander
"Finding Darwin's God" - Ken Miller

All three of the above are written by Christian biologists.

Then the Church is in a lot more trouble than I thought.

Is it in trouble because it has got used to the idea that the Earth orbits the Sun, and not vice versa? It would be in big trouble today, if it hadn't got used to that idea. In fact it might not have survived the experience.

Amen, but there is only one version in which the Bible agrees with every discovery of Science and History including recent ones. It's proof of the Literal God.

Tit for tat in that situation is, what you require of others is also required of you.
With what measure you judge, you also shall be judged.

Sure you were.
