im gonna do something i very rarely do and ask you to please pray for me. Sunday my son accidentally bopped me in the head with the car door. i have a mild concussion, feelings of nausea, pain, and vision problems( not major). pleae pray that i dont get worse and that my right eye's vision problem is only temporary. thank you.

here's today's diagnoses:
1. Bilateral scolioses
2. Rotator cuff Sprain & Strain
3. Sprained & Strained: Cervicals, Thoracic, & Lumbars
4. Eyes worsening;
other than that I'm well. - Even practiced my iceskating yesterday for 2+hours.
However, until 5 of the above are resolved, my on-ice skills are gonna crawl...

So please, if you would dear friends, Ask Jesus to make me 100% again.

Actually I omitted 2 dire Health-challenges above,
(1 for which I have a separate Prayer-thread here),
but
As a tiny child, I was blessed remembering:
God's assurances, we must ->marry<- to our own positivity
to enjoy health, or facilitate regaining it. - Thus
"We're gonna win... (whatevers)"- attitudes, Beliefs,
convictions, determination, honed thru decades, &
additional Mind-skills also honed (keep me connected to this life).
(GOD & us together) is how people are helped to heal... honest-engine truth.

I went to a ladies tea today with apprehension and left knowing the Holy Spirit was working to our good even during the times I'm not aware of it or don't feel it. This was a very good reminder.

sk8Joyful, yes, our relationship with God is a healing experience. Going to Him in truth and pouring out my heart 'no hiding' is the most all-round theraputic experience I can ever have. It brings me closer to Him, helps me grow and I'm able to see the truth more clearly as I trust Him and He reveals this in such a loving way. One of my favorite passages is the one that talks about God not being in the mighty wind, earthquake or fire, rather He spoke in a gentle whisper. I Kings 19:11-12

To me these are some of the most powerful words in the Bible... "still small voice" The simplest words can be the most profound. I think it's simply beautiful.

1st. that would be futile , & too God is my everything:
so nothing to hide from. God only wants my best, my finest, my highest bliss...
And knowing this, I RUN to him with Open-heart & arms, happily.
Even in moments that I bring Him shame , I know His LOVE for me never diminshes, but only grows brighter...

And Colleen, the same is true for you & all of us as God's beloved children...

Thanks Kathy now if only I could remember to be as KIND to myself, as others.

Meaning too often I minister to, & care for, all else - &
then, I forget about me: too selfless, for my own good.
For example, that is how my back almost broke in the 1st.place:
then when Massage-therapists see my bilateral-S-shape,
they go: 'oh not again, please'.- But they've assured me,
not only will I recover from this latest MVA, also
I can yet Straighten my posture UP : so vital for
Skating-progress, amongst other skills...

Yes, hiding is futile. Psalm 139 is another favorite passage of mine.
