Sorry, but I do not find the idea that you have knowledge of the future based on your religious text credible either. But for what it is worth, if Christians do start being persecuted in America I will stand beside you in defending them.

It sounds like it wasn't her refusal to wear the shirt, but comments made during her refusal.

I think it's fair enough from the company. 2000 years ago 'bearing your cross' could and in many cases would result in far worse than losing your job. Worth keeping in mind, in my opinion, because it's no different and to be expected.

Starbucks barista says she was fired for refusing to wear Pride shirt

In her wrongful termination suit, Betsy Fresse said wearing a shirt in support of the LGBTQ community would be a “contradiction to her religious beliefs.”
This goes back to baking a cake for the LGBTQ community. We all have to ask ourselves, what would Jesus Christ of Nazareth do? He would bake the cake while wearing the shirt. Why? He came for the sinner! He preached love one another, forgiveness and inclusion. Taking this incident all the way through the courts is NOT the will of the Father. I know most of you won't get that. Be blessed.

I think gays should be protected as much as anyone else is and what they do in private is their business and if they want civil unions for financial or secular reasons I am good with that. However I see no reason why the gay agenda should get any protection at all. If I worked at Starbucks I would keep my mouth shut and volunteer nothing. I would do nothing to promote anything gay at all. And if someone specifically asked me what I thought, I would tell them. Protect people of course, but no reason at all to protect anything that violates your standards. And when not on the job, resist it.

Oh please. By that standard, every one of 80 million voters was "part of the force" also, and you know very well that this was not my point of reference.

I do not know that is your point of reference. I had presumed that you were speaking of all of us. If I am mistaken then I apologize.

If there still is any doubt, just return to my previous post for examples.

Very well. Apparently those of us who elected him missed this clear agenda that you claim. So what is the clear agenda of those you listed?

Which sect of Christians. Keith Green was likely assassinated and certainly was persecuted for his published views of world wide deception in religion.
Some think that David Wilkerson was assassinated (or that was the desire anyway, to get David out of the way), for exposing the seeker fiendish false gospel(destroys souls).
So, then, (and also other Christians of several specific denominations are hassled frequently for their stand in faith in Jesus, hassled by unbelievers and by other sects of Christianity ) ... so then, who will you defend ?

So what kind of persecution are they teaching you to expect?
It starts small like someone getting fired for not wearing a pride shirt or a bakery worker getting fired for not wanting to decorate a cake for a gay wedding

Of course you cant compare getting fired from a job to what Christians are going through in other parts of the world. But were still not used to seeing this in the western world and has the potential to get much worse. The bible verses i posted before (Romans 1:18-32) is evidence that America has turned from the one true God and God has left America to its ways. Not to be pessimistic but i expect conditions to get worse.

You must not have read the article or any of the many transcriptions posted in this thread. There was no insistence on the part of the company that she do any such thing.

She hardly made it a pulpit. She was upset and spoke onecomment directly from the heart, without concern for what others thought.

We don't know that yet.

Racial slurs come from the heart. Are they okay? Of course not. Do they have consequences? Absolutely. Religion is no different.

Not something l would even consider holding against her, nor do I think Christ would, but it's quite possible he'd be pleased.

She doesn't work for you. She has to operate within the guidelines of her employer or go elsewhere.

Yours in His Service,

~bella

I always felt this way too but what if they want the rainbow on the cake, knowing that the rainbow after Noah and the arc was to represent a covenant between God and man?

With the lgbt using the rainbow to represent homosexuality and pride, do you think that would be a reasonable reason to refuse to bake the cake?

Jesus hung out with all sinners because He was creating a model of how to build His Church, one lost sheep at a time. This is the will of the Father. Many, including you, have decided to exclude those who are considered outcasts. Be blessed.

So you attack Christians who expose the oppressors ? Instead of , as you posted, defending Christians who are attacked ?
Wild accusations of assassination for people who died in plane crashes and automobile accidents are not exposing anything. We Are done here.

Jesus would never approve of wearing the shirt - it is a banner of wickedness and sin, but
Jesus might feed someone who is His declared enemy (the ones destined for destruction), without approving of their perversion.
Jesus did/does say, as written in the Bible, if someone is hungry, feed them.
If your enemy is thirsty , give them a glass of water.

Look below far right....CF uses the rainbow for "optimism" not a covenant. The good news is the rainbow God was speaking of is in the sky and not an image. Be blessed.

You did not do any research at all, did you? There is no wild accusation at all - it is simply stated facts revealed nationwide or world wide decades ago.
