CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

That certainly works for me! He could have tracked Lysander to the mountains. Paladin do you wish to bring your character in at the foot of the mountains and be 'discovered' snooping about after Lysander or do you wish to have already been 'found' by dwarves. Maybe even Flintback? That would explain his absence if he had 'found' Orrifice... Flintback would bring him to the Silvers to be judged no doubt so he could join the little party going to the Seer.... Does that work for everyone?

Btw, I just realized that I don't think I mentioned this in my original PM to you, Cyberwing, but I also have a bit of an NPC character known as Harris Mounyan, who's a Perian Cavalry Officer traveling with Orrifice, would it be alright to bring him in too?
I'm alright with Flintback finding Orrifice. Also, Orrifice has a very large warhorse called Garr, which if he went to the mountains, he'd most likely be riding it.

Sounds good.... hmmm where would Garr stay when Orrifice goes underground?? Xer and Soiren had to let their horses go... Perhaps they would stable them in a nearby Livery or Smithy?
There would be no graze for them in the caverns. I would imagine if turned loose like Xer and Soiren's mounts. They would follow the grazing and move to the meadows beyond the lake region?? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

A reliable smithy would tend his horse and keep the animal ready for him. A good livery does the same, many times the smithy ran the livery...so.... It wouldn't be unusual for a knight to do that I would think. Stable his horse somewhere trustworthy. How does that sound Paladin? That way you come get him when you are ready.

It is the next morning after the direwolf attack. A new, glorious morning has been greeted by the Silvers (and Jodi) with a song of praise. The cavern itself has been lit up like a magical chamber of gems from the rays of the rising sun coming through old steam vents. These rays are igniting the crystal formations in a dazzling display of color. Jodi has laid the fire and Slade has gone back to his warm bed! Tolari and Slopewing are egg-sitting alone at the moment, letting Ti and Jodi stretch their legs.

LOL! The Red Shirts... The guys who died a lot in most episodes! Lysander doesn't hold with needlessly killing underlings, though; he needs all that he can work with. About the only reason he'd kill any of the lower-ranked Zantukites with him is something like... ohhhhh, treason. I think he read the Evil Overlord list.
Zan probably isn't too happy at the moment, either... she kinda just heard last night what happened to the rest of her travelling group or whoever it was. (Hmmm... killer direwolves, what else needs to be said? ) Also, the hatching ground of the Silvers got attacked the previous night and only five eggs survived, which Jodi, Tolari, Slopewing and Tivanica (or Ti) have been attending to. Ti has been staying in FireMist for about a year, and... well, everyone will get to hear her story soon because she hasn't been very talkative. It's not a very nice story, though, that's for certain! And the responsibility for THAT falls directly on my villainess... mwahahahahah! (She's in the Time of Trial thread...)

That's kinda funny... a couple of my major characters in A Time of Trial started out as Easily Expendable Minor Characters (TM).
