Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

Advent Children was an awesome movie in terms of action, but in terms of everything else it was pretty weak. I speak as someone who's beaten FF7, and I can tell you, even if you haven't beaten the game, you're not missing much. As long as you can appreciate the awesome battle scenes, you're not missing anything.

I loved every minute of it...even the credits. I've watched the movie more times than I can count, and could probably recite most of it. It's just me...I suppose...

yes square made another movie before this, it was final fantasy : The spirits within. That movie had really no relation to the FF games just a sci fi movie with the name slapped on to it but still was pretty good. And the FF advent children movie is a direct sequel to FF VII one of the most successful FF games. Speaking of FF, did anyone saw the trailer to FF XIII (13) on ps3? this series is never going to end

ff7 is my favourite that I've played and I really liked the movie too. I didn't know there were sequel games to the storyline. Are they PC games?

I haven't seen the trailer to ff13, I think I went out of the loop after 10.

I disagree that it wasn't related to the games. Only one of the games, X, has ever had a direct sequel. Most of the time, even the games aren't related to each other by things such as characters, storylines, or even game mechanics.

I saw the FFXII trailer, and that was good looking. I haven't seen the FFXIII trailer yet.

And I loved Advent Children.

I recently purchased the DVD and I absolutely loved it. It finally gave me some closure to the game.

We bought a ps2 to play ffX, but I doubt hubby will let me get a ps3 this time. lol That's the sucky thing about playstation and xbox, etc. At least with computers, you rarely have to upgrade them to play the new games.

XIII looks awesome! Once my brother buys a PS3 I'm never gonan stop playing it (don't tell him I said that...I'm a college student though...so....yeah)

Do you have to Play all of FF7 in order to know what is going on? You see I was in the middal of the game, I was at the part ware you meet vincent and...... it broke so I never got to beat it.
