FFXI vs. WOW

I am a huge fan of both series of games. I have all WC games and all FF games out and have FFX-2 reserved. What do you think will be better? I have FFXI, but do you think that WOW will up it. These will be the two main MMORPGs up until EverQuest 2 comes out. What do you guys think?

Tough call, WoW has more familiar settings for me, but FFXI has characters with little cat ears!

I don't know, something not to discount as trivial though, WoWs' color scheme looks a lot more pleasing! Easy on the eyes 'n all.

my brother said FF XI was pretty cool. and WoW...i haven't even played warcraft 3 much lately. i'm so clueless...hehe

WoW isn't even out yet anyways. I'd love to know more about FFXI though, what's it like? Lots/little PvP? XP hard/easy? Upkeep a pain? Big interesting place, or can you see it all in a few weeks? Grand story, or is everything pretty much generic little quests?

The story is okay, not really that good because it is online. It is easy to live up. There is no PvP at all . The world is huge but you have to be high level to leave the area around the city or you will die. There are some ups and downs in this game but over all it is very good.

my brother said that FF is a little slow right now. which is expected, because it hasn't been out for too long.

Yeah, that was the same thing with Star Wars Galaxies but it stayed slow
