King Saul suffered greatly at the end of his life which is a lesson for all professing Christians.People who commit suicide and stay dead are not saved. Also, God would not hear from Saul towards the end of his life, so it is really obvious he was not saved at this point.
Actually we do need a clear Bible verse to know that a person who commits suicide is necessarily lost because of it.You really should not need a Bible verse to know this. But if you do, here are few.

I absolutely agree with you as it pertains to salvation. What many or perhaps most do not understand is that once one is truly sealed, willful sin no longer has the benefit of Christ's sacrifice but must be severely punished as shown in Hebrews
Heb.10
Verses 26 to 27
[26] For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
[27] But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
King Saul endured this as have I. I can assure you that if you are in fact sealed in The Holy Spirit and enter into willful sin, you will experience the fearful looking for of judgement and fiery indignation. However, I also fall into the category below from Daniel 11

[35] And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.
I have since been filled with The Love of Christ and pray often to never sin
and to be made meek and lowly like our Lord Jesus The Christ.
Until someone has experienced the Spiritual things Spoken of in Hebrews and has been truly born again, it is impossible for such a person to understand these mysteries.
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of The Living God.
I thank God often that I am not the judge and I am also thankful that many others are not my judge.
To have experienced walking In The Spirit and then have that taken away

I only know of one place in The Bible that Speaks of suicide and the man contemplating it feared the after life out come in so doing so decided against.People who commit suicide and stay dead are not saved. Excellent quote that I was unaware of until I just read the entire chapter in context.2 Samuel 7:15 says,
“But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee.”
Of course. That's crystal clear in the scriptures.

As I've tried to share on numerous occasions, until one is truly born again, they cannot understand. I've met, that I'm aware of, only 4 others who were truly born again to date. This doesn't make it so, it simply means that is what I know.
There is no contradiction between 1 John 1:8 and 1 John 3:9Do you realize that 1 John 1:8 actually contradicts 1 John 3:9?
If you say, but John is addressing Christians, then again, you are not recognizing the Semitic style of writing...............
The western church has used 1 John 1:8 for a long, long time to justify their sin, like "well, everybody does it." No, that is sooooooo wrong........

Thus, there are many unsaved pew warmers filling the church.

If John is not addressing Christians, who is he addressing?
I doubt that anyone is trying to justify their sins by agreeing with 1 John 1:8. They are, rather, simply taking it as it is written and looking at it in the light of the examples we have in scripture of Christians sinning.
1 John 3:9 is another matter:
"And he cannot sin (και οὐ δυναται ἁμαρτανειν [kai ou dunatai hamartanein]). This is a wrong translation, for this English naturally means “and he cannot commit sin” as if it were και οὐ δυναται ἁμαρτειν [kai ou dunatai hamartein] or ἁμαρτησαι [hamartēsai] (second aorist or first aorist active infinitive). The present active infinitive ἁμαρτανειν [hamartanein] can only mean “and he cannot go on sinning,” as is true of ἁμαρτανει [hamartanei] in verse 8 and ἁμαρτανων [hamartanōn] in verse 6. ---------- What is happening in 1 John 3:9 is that John is saying that the one who is born again does not habitually abide in sin. He may fall into it, (as we see Christians doing in the scripture examples) but he does not practice it as a lifestyle. The nuances of the Greek language are not carried over to the English, but when we understand what is happening, we then see there is no problem.
I have no doubt there are many unsaved pew warmers, pulpit warmers, and priest/nun costume warmers filling the so called church.
No doubt there were many in the church who were not really God's children.In chapter 4:1-3 John describes those who were infiltrating the church. They are the ones he is accurately describing in 1 John 1:6, 8 and 10, and church history calls them Gnostics. The Nicolaitans were also Gnostic in their false and heinous doctrine.

But there can be no doubt as to who the words of the book was addressed and who was expected to learn from it:
"My little children....... Beloved, I am not writing......which is true in Him and in you...... I am writing to you, little children, because your sins have been forgiven you for His name’s sake......

I was supernaturally illuminated and saw the absolute truth in The Word for the first time. On the 6th day of the fast I was walking out of our bedroom one evening and I was instantly suspended over the lake of fire and there was nothing that I could do about it. I quickly learned the fear of The Lord. It was a powerful vision. After that, there have been so many powerful miracles that I can't remember them all. It began when I was 36 over 26 years ago. It led me to the actual born again experience which was by far the single most terrifying experience in my life. The Lord prepared me for it in a way that I could understand it. I began begging God for someone who understood what I was going through and He answered me quickly with a Brother that I still fellowship with. He had gone through a very similar list of changes and was the principal of a large Baptist school at the time. He is about 10 years older than me and he also went through this when he was 36. He had never met another and until recently still had never met another. I had met 4 others since it first happened to me. Many mysteries are revealed after this experience that can only be truly understood when you have gone through them. We both believe that the day approaches when the world at large with exceptions Spoken of by Moses in Numbers 16:29 and perhaps others but in that day they will understand that Christ is Lord and then they will be literally be in for the fight of their life. If those days are not shortened no flesh will be saved. Where the corpse is there will the eagles be gathered. This means once they fail they will be fodder for possession and they will most certainly hate Christians. This is very strong meat and not meant to be shared with babes.What did you find different in yourself. (Sorry, I haven't read your previous posts.) For me, it was power over sin, overnight! Also, a constant desire to learn more of God, and being able to hear His voice. And from then on all my prayers were answered, whereas, before, not one prayer was answered. Amazing!

The many mysteries That The Lord has revealed, as you now know, can only be revealed directly from The Holy Trinity. Each aspect of my short testimony above is in God's Word.Thank you. I too had a vision that night in 1977. I was in the country in a large field and could see a town in the distance. In the middle of the field was a large glass tube, about 300 feet in diameter. The tube was vertical and went all the way into the clouds above. Half way up was a nest of large snakes blocking the tube, and it was revealed to me that it was my sin. My sin was preventing relationship with God. He couldn't answer my prayers, or bless me. It was then I repented. God filled me with His Spirit, and my desires changed overnight. I too have had one miracle after another since then, and He has revealed what He means in His Word, and sometimes it is quite different than any denomination believes. What a journey. And I too have not seen many with this type of experience. So now you have 5.
