Hi Cindy, I have always said what you write benefits me.. It is never wasting time to share what the LORD is showing you.. :) Sometimes we are just doing it and not always seeing what the LORD brings from it.. like sowing seeds and leaving them to grow and moving on to sow more seeds.. You must do as the Spirit leads..

I have just been busy seeking the LORD as Jehovah Rapha.. and building myself up in the most holy faith.. Keeping my mind on all His promises.. encouraging others.. I stay mostly on Healing Ministry.. because that is where my heart is right now.. LOL.. though it doesn't seem like many others are.. It is a battle for sure isn't it.. Yesterday my arm went weeird.. and I couldn't hold anything.. and was shaking.. that has never happened before..
But I rebuked it and prayed for healing... and it went away.. Praise the LORD..

I have peace and joy.. and hope in the LORD.. and I think a lot need encouragement..

I might be wrong but have you been personally struggling lately?? I have sensed that..

Be encouraged sweet Cindy.. you are loved.. and although we are not perfect.. He that fills us is!! He never fails.. No never!! Halleujah..

I also want to say this post is so sweet. So loving and kind.....:hug:'s to you PC4!

On Sunday, I'm going to hear John Bevere speak at a local church. In looking into their website, I found a rather interesting on-line course on healing. Lots of practical WOF concepts - perhaps elementary to some of us, but I find I need to be constantly renewing my mind so I'm okay with repetition. This class is taught by a woman pushing 80 - but she talks and looks like she's in her 60's. Very encouraging to see powerful women in teaching roles as they mature.

Here's the website. www.riveroflifefellowship.org. I had to set up an account to get into the healing site.

It seems the reason for my not posting as much may be that at this time the Lord has you two, and maybe others, focusing on healing, and Glenda was away at a conference. So it is most likely a matter of timing. You see, it hasn't been a conscious decision, or a plan in my mind to not post the Word here the past week. It has been a lack of drive, which comes from the Spirit.

Yes, pc4, you have been very encouraging, always telling me when a Word is on time. I don't feel discouraged in the sense I should not be sharing, I just haven't had that strong desire to share that has always been there. So I questioned why. I'm concluding it is the season now for you to be studying elsewhere but do know by faith that this will start up again. Meanwhile we will fellowship and keep in touch with one another. I believe the Lord may add some to our fellowship - so I'm here!

And who knows, the Lord may prompt me to write here again as soon as tomorrow. I cannot foresee His plan. I only know what He has before one step at a time. Isn't this true in all things? Sometimes we see days or months in advance because of what He is leading us to do, like join the praise team or work on a healing ministry team. We know we will be there a while because it requires faithfulness. We know we will stay with our spouse till death. But other things are not long term. And for all of them, we don't know what is coming afterwards. Well, I never have. I don't know too many who have their whole life planned out. If so, just watch it change! ^_^

Oh....nearly forgot....yes, I have had some personal struggles. But don't we all, all the time? In this world we'll have tribulation, but be of good cheer, Jesus has overcome the world.

I have been thinking, here I am 49, and what have I done with my life?

So there it is, a raw, vulnerable thought I've been dealing with. Basically, I am concluding by the Spirit of God not to look at the outward. Another thought, God will not hold me responsible for not doing something He hasn't revealed to me to do. And yes, I do seek Him to find out what He wants me to do, for that is all my desire.

So now I'm crying. You have my heart. How did you do that? ;) Pulled it right out of me. :)

You've done a lot! Your leak scripture in a way to which I can only aspire. You encourage, you teach, you inspire many of us to look at our lives through spiritual eyes. You've personally taught me how to pray in a whole different way! What have you done with your life? Much.

I think the enemy tries to discourage us and place on our hearts a burden that is not of God. I'm constantly reminded that I was not created for works, I was created to be in relationship with God. God wants our love for Him to be first in our lives. And from that deep love, comes a natural desire to serve. Its not service/mission/doing something meaningful first. Its love.

I think God has already directed you to do what you need. One thing I gained from listening to the Blake tapes is that we already have the direction we need to do the will of God. Its all in the Word. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons,....bring Heaven on earth. But most of all its to love the Lord with all your heart.

You are a wonderful, loving woman of God. Anything that ties to deceive you into believing otherwise is not of God. I'm sending you my prayers and love right now. Peace. Ral

One more thing, I needs prayers for my dog. She's only a year and a half, but she had a growth recently removed that was cancerous. Just today, I noticed her swelling from her surgery wasn't going down as expected. I just felt it...and it feels like a tumor. I know the Word, I know this is a battle, but I feel utterly incapable of contending for her health while I'm so emotionally entangled with my own fears and anxieties of losing her, and the cost. Already this has cost us over $600 in unplanned expenses.

I need prayers for strength to pray powerfully for my dog, and prayers for her complete healing. She's such an important part of our family. Thanks.

Dogs really do become part of the family. I even cried when one of our gerbils died a year ago. :)

Just because your emotions are caught up in this doesn't necessarily mean your faith won't work. Find it in the Word and you can stand on it. As far as I know, I don't remember Jesus healing any animals in His ministry. At least, it was not recorded if He did. But that doesn't mean He doesn't. I rest my faith on two things - His compassion, and in Proverbs there is a scripture about a cruel person is mean to his animals. So if we are commanded to be kind, healing being a kindness, then is not the One who told us also kind? Therefore, I can have confidence the Lord hears me and I am praying according to the Word.

Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. With financial issues going on I guess I am equating ability and doing God's will somewhat with being productive and helping out my husband with the finances.

Yet, there is a separation in my desire to do God's will. I know money does not equal doing His will. I'm not dealing with things as well as normal. I think it is because of two reasons - I stopped taking supplements and it is physiological, and because I am moving forward in things of the Lord and the enemy resists it. And I'm talking about it! The mouth has a lot to do with everything. However I am requesting prayer and welcome insights from you ladies who have the wisdom of God.

Isaiah 12

1 And in that day you will say:

“ O LORD, I will praise You;
Though You were angry with me,
Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me.
2 Behold, God is my salvation,
I will trust and not be afraid;

‘ For YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song;
He also has become my salvation.’”
3 Therefore with joy you will draw water
From the wells of salvation.

4 And in that day you will say:

“ Praise the LORD, call upon His name;
Declare His deeds among the peoples,
Make mention that His name is exalted.
5 Sing to the LORD,
For He has done excellent things;
This is known in all the earth.
6 Cry out and shout, O inhabitant of Zion,
For great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst!”

I will remember God is in my midst. God is in our midst. The Lord my God is my strength and my song. He is my salvation - salvation from whatever it is I need saving from.

It says, "In that day you will say...." I will say these things. I have to use my mouth. It makes the biggest difference as to whether I think, or if I say. No more doldrums for me! God is my comfort. God is on my side. I've got to get my bucket and draw water out of the well of salvation. It must be my mouth is the bucket and the well is my spirit where God resides.

^_^ I said I may do this as soon as tomorrow. Sorry, I guess I got ahead of myself! :D

What a sweet, Holy Spirit, Bible believing bunch you are! :thumbsup: :)

I am doing very well, as usual, because of Jesus. I believe the downcast feeling yesterday was partially due to something physical, as I suspected. Without going into details I'm quite sure it was a contributing factor. It was either something I ate, a virus, or possibly intestinal parasites. I am doing much better now, so that pretty much rules out the third possibility.

ral, I was wanting to ask you, how was your visit with your step-mother?

pc4, how's your hubby been treating you? How's your kids?

Tomorrow is a bit of a busy day, and Sunday too. I may get a few minutes to come online. I hope so.

I've been reading Isaiah and 2 Kings. The Lord has been highlighting things that have me interceding for my nation, and for the church that sleeps, the church that has left her first love.

I love you dear family through Christ.. something Irene also posted on Word of Faith forum.. really helped too.. Praise the LORD!!

Fight From Victory, Not For Victory
By Pastor Joseph Prince of New Creation Church, Singapore.

Ephesians 6:11
Put on the whole amour of God, that you may be
able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

God does not need you to defeat the devil today. Jesus has already done it and given you the victory. (Colossians 2:15, Romans 8:37) Your part is to enforce the victory by simply standing your ground, which is victory ground. In other words, you “fight” from victory ground by standing. You don’t fight for victory.

In Ephesians 6:10–18, the passage on spiritual warfare, the word “wrestle” appears only once (verse 12), while the word “stand” appears four times — “stand against the wiles of the devil”, “withstand in the evil day”, “having done all, to stand”, “Stand therefore”. (Verses 11, 13–14) Four times the Holy Spirit tells us to stand. Yet, many Christians are focusing on wrestling their way to victory!

My friend, you are already on victory ground. You already have everything in Christ. (1 Corinthians 3:21, 23) You are already blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ. (Ephesians 1:3) The devil knows this. And that is why his tactic is to deceive you and make you think that you don’t have the victory.

So when he attacks you by saying, “Look at that small sum in your bank account! How are you going to pay the bills?” stand your ground. Declare, “I am not trying to be rich, I am rich. In Christ, I am rich!” It doesn’t matter how much you have in the bank. You are rich because you are in Christ. And as the need arises, the supply will be there if you believe that you are already rich.

It is the same with healing. The devil will try to attack you with symptoms in your body. He will try to put pain in your body, and make you feel weak here and there, so that you think that you are still sick. He is trying to make you believe that you don’t have your healing. That is the time to be conscious of Jesus’ finished work and declare, “I am not trying to get healed, I am healed! I am standing on the victory ground which Jesus has given me!”

Beloved, it makes a world of difference when you fight from victory and not for victory!

:amen: This is absolutely right.

I have something to share the Lord has been showing me from Isaiah. He is talking to me about the church, His people, today. He's had an alarming sounding off in my spirit for the state of the church at large today. I don't believe any of you are like this. I'm sharing it as a prophetic Word with you to hear His voice and intercede. If God did not spare His beloved people, the nation whom He chose, do we think He will spare us as a nation?

Hear the voice of the Lord. Hear Him as He pleads with His beloved people Israel, whom He has made covenant with. And hear Him pleading today to His people He has made covenant with.

In ancient Israel during the reign of King Ahaz the people had turned their heart from the Lord and were living as the nations around them. They were caught in idolatry yet sacrificing to the Lord. Here the calling of the Lord to them from Isaiah 1.

2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth! For the Lord has spoken: I have nourished and brought up sons and have made them great and exalted, but they have rebelled against Me and broken away from Me.
3 The ox [instinctively] knows his owner, and the donkey his master's crib, but Israel does not know or recognize Me [as Lord], My people do not consider or understand.

AMP

Can this be said of the church at large today? Hasn’t the Lord drawn each one, one by one, into His kingdom, washed them of their sins by the blood of the Lamb, nourished, taught, cared for us, and set us on high seating us with Him in heavenly places with Christ Jesus making us heirs with Him? And have some broken away? Are some unable to hear and recognize His voice? Have some drifted to place where they no longer consider the Lord or understand? The Lord calls this rebellion.

Ah, but surely in this state they do not realize this is where they are. It is a subtle thing, and a deception of the enemy. Their eyes are closed, their ears are closed and they do not hear. Is it not true that they could not see, nor hear, not recognizing their Master any longer? Not hearing His voice? Are some living today as the world and do not hear His voice?

Israel thought they were still following the Master for they were still offering sacrifices in the temple, but hear what the Lord had to say about that.

Isaiah 1:11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me [unless they are the offering of the heart]? says the Lord. I have had enough of the burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts [without obedience]; and I do not delight in the blood of bulls or of lambs or of he-goats [without righteousness].
12 When you come to appear before Me, who requires of you that your [unholy feet] trample My courts?
13 Bring no more offerings of vanity (emptiness, falsity, vainglory, and futility); [your hollow offering of] incense is an abomination to Me; the New Moons and Sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot endure--[it is] iniquity and profanation, even the solemn meeting.

AMP

Could any in the church still be going to church as they were still going to the temple? Could any be conscious of the blood of Jesus offered for them, and singing the songs during worship yet still be unholy? Can any be drawing near with their lips while their hearts are far from the Lord? Is this not hollow? Is this not empty? Is it not futile?

Can this be true of one who has been washed in the blood of the Lamb of God? Is it possible? Certainly. If the Lord was not pleased with them when they were doing what He instructed them to do in order to be cleansed and accepted in their day because of the idolatry in their hearts, why would He be any different today? If we count the blood of Jesus so lightly as to also let other things take our affection, which is idolatry, and expect we are A-OK with God just as they, should we think the Lord would be any less displeased with us?

Isaiah was sent to them because the Lord loved them and as was reminding them they would be consumed of their enemies if they departed from Him. The Lord is sending out His voice by His Spirit through the prophets today to call His people to repentance.

Isaiah 1:16 Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes! Cease to do evil

And to the church today…..
James 4:8 Come close to God and He will come close to you. [Recognize that you are] sinners, get your soiled hands clean; [realize that you have been disloyal] wavering individuals with divided interests, and purify your hearts [of your spiritual adultery].

Isaiah 1:17 Learn to do right! Seek justice, relieve the oppressed, and correct the oppressor. Defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.

James 1:22 But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth].
23 For if anyone only listens to the Word without obeying it and being a doer of it, he is like a man who looks carefully at his [own] natural face in a mirror;
24 For he thoughtfully observes himself, and then goes off and promptly forgets what he was like.

AMP

He forgets. He doesn’t purposely walk away from the Lord in rebellion, he forgets, subtly departing from the Lord.

James 1:21 So get rid of all uncleanness and the rampant outgrowth of wickedness, and in a humble (gentle, modest) spirit receive and welcome the Word which implanted and rooted [in your hearts] contains the power to save your souls.
AMP

Let us return giving heed to the Word of God by daily reading it and letting it soak in, affecting changes in our lives. First, let us repent. Come to the Lord and be washed. Only He can cleanse. He convicts of sin and cleanses. He does not condemn. He sends for His Word in love to turn the hearts of men back to Him.

1 John 1:8 If we say we have no sin [refusing to admit that we are sinners], we delude and lead ourselves astray, and the Truth [which the Gospel presents] is not in us [does not dwell in our hearts].
9 If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].

Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool.
19 If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;
20 But if you refuse and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.

AMP

Eat the good of the land, or be devoured by the sword. Live in the blessing of God, or be devoured of the enemy. Thanks be to God He gives us a choice.
