Every morning I took long walks on the beach singing/speaking in the spirit with no other humans around.

I also read a great deal of Bill Johnson's "When Heaven Invades Earth". A good read.
I'm SO glad a few of you are listening to the Curry Blake tapes!!! I've gone through them at least twice now, and I'm ready for the third time through. I want to take his training next year.
ral!!!!!

Welcome back. You were missed.
I'm very slow in going through Blake's tapes. He's not grabbing me, if you kwim, partially due to being busy. It's true, it is not my meeting, but nutrition is integral to health and it is part of being a good steward over our bodies. Will God heal a body that is a mess b/c we wrecked it? Absolutely. But go and sin no more!

The Word say a lot about the glutton and drunkard, of which we are to be neither. The church is real good about coming down on drunkards, and maybe ought not be so condemning, yet it not only excuses, but indulges in whatever appeals to the appetite! Go figure. The Bible lumps it in the same category, also along with fornication in 1 Cor. We really need to renew our minds. However Blake is focusing on healing, and ministering healing, and I understand he must stick to the subject.
As with all teachers, eat the hay and spit out the sticks. And that goes for me, guys. If I get loopy, just ignore or correct in love. I'll receive it if it is of the Lord - I receive it and desire it!
I love hearing about the walks on the beach singing and praying.

I know how wonderful that is. That's why I walk every morning at sunrise. I am renewed and refreshed from the presence of the Lord. I hear the instruction of the Holy Spirit at that time each day of my life. Plus it serves as a catalyst to hearing Him throughout the day when I'm not specifically "in prayer".
Johnson's book sounds like a good read. Would you believe I am still working my way through
Christ the Healer?
Don't mind me about Blake. I think the Lord uses different people at different times in our lives. He has me attending to other issues in my life at this time and that plays a major role in my not giving much attention to the Blake teaching right now. I am focusing on marriage, recovering all we lost financially, controlling my tongue, reaching out to the lost in our CSA group, which by the way I'll be meeting with the two leaders today to plan how much of each vegetable needs to be planted, and also focusing on being a living epistle which can be read before dh and dd. Plus there are some issues of me being our praise team I need to look at. Oh....and...forming a "Life Group" in our home, an offshoot from the church for a home meeting.

The list goes on! I won't bore you.
Praise God for the clothes you have.. even if they are a pain to wash and sort through!!
Amen to that! That's what I think when I start to be overwhelmed, or when I think about my 12 yr. old van, at least I have one! The AC works, it is in good condition, except for a little rust from the salt air here....over all I am blessed to have it, and the blessing is working in my life bringing increase on every front - finances, wisdom, in relationships, direction, energy, everywhere!
