How is everyone this afternoon?

Really tough and discouraging day at work. Some things have been boiling for a while now and coming to a head. Meeting with a supervisor tomorrow. On the surface it looks like we have irreconcilable differences. So I'm probably leaving, maybe sooner, maybe later.

I'm not even sure I want to stay under the present conditions. I feel like I have to speak up, hold my position in a friendly, yet firm, way. As much as I dread job hunting again, I probably dread being stuck here even more.

Anyway, I don't know what will happen. But I pray I have the courage and aptitude to handle it professionally and that whatever happens be for the best.

Appreciate your prayers.

Mark I pray that You are able to give the whole lot to the LORD and discern His desires for you in this place.. His favor rests on You as you seek Him with all your heart.. I pray that you will be a light and that you will have wisdom and peace.. May seem like a testing time for you.. but with the Lord on your side.. you are an overcomer!!

His ways give life. The world’s ways rob us from life. Many things which may be engaged in lead to futility and emptiness. There’s no profit it them.

On the contrary, Jesus has come to bring life. Jesus, the Living Word, The Way, The Truth, and The Life, has come to bring life, a life that overflows, a life superabundant, above what you could ask or think. Jesus in The Way.
John 10:10 A thief comes only to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and have it in abundance.

Jesus in The Way. The psalmist prayed, “Give me life in Your ways.” And here is Jesus, Who is The Way.
The Hebrew word “way” in Old Testament can be defined as

• road, way, path
  [*]direction
  [*]manner, habit, way

In all I face at this time, I have abundant life. I have joy, I have peace. This works. The Word of God is true. And I am confident all will be restored, my husband is led of the Lord and he will have a job and/or business that is good, that my son is delivered and desires the Lord more than anything, and my daughter is healed.

Yes, yesterday a fever came on her suddenly, shooting up to 103.7. I fear not. I believe, and she is healed. Just watch and see!

It doesn't pay to behold empty, worthless things. What is worth beyond price, above rubies, above anything, is Jesus, and beholding Him in all our ways.

The Lord bless each one of you. He has called you out, you are His chosen, and His delight is in you.

I am with you Cindy.. fellowshipping with you... in agreement with You.. feeding on the word of God with you.. I believe we are coming into fellowship now that before has not ever been possible.. and I don't just mean because you are in the USA and I in Australia.. Don't you get a sense of a closeness that perhaps you have never had with people before.. I do..

Thanks to anyone who prayed and/or offered encouragement.

Meeting with my supervisor went as well as it probably could have. There are just major issues to honestly and openly discuss and it isn't productive to either side to keep ignoring them like we've been doing the past few months. I have very strong feelings and so do they. But, we both respect the other's position.

Bottom line was we pretty much agreed to part as friends. Not immediately, but likely at a mutually convenient time this summer. We're going to sit down again in a couple of weeks and discuss things in more detail, but I think we just have to agree to disagree amicably and move on.

Still, it's not easy and I'm pretty distraught at the moment. Oh well, life goes on and God is still..... wherever he was yesterday.

Well it's good that you were able to sit and communicate Mark. I don't know exactly what you do, but it sounds as if there's some partnership involved.

I pray this meeting will help with the tension that was building between everyone and that maybe things might be able to be worked out.

There's nothing more frustrating than emotions running a muck within. May the Lord grant you peace, wisdom, endurance, and insight to your situation.

Are you distraught over another change once again? Seems like you just got settled in there. At least waiting till summer gives you time to find something else.

I'm glad to hear you both were able to settle things amiably. Now, if that peacable state will remain as long as you're there.

Be confident in knowing the Lord will never leave you, nor forsake you.

Bottom line is that if something is not working, you try to fix it: whether a car or a computer or a relationship or whatever. If you can't fix it to your satisfaction, you get a new one (like I did with that microwave oven a few weeks back.)

So I'm just hoping that God is paying attention and has a better plan in store. Oh, well, life goes on.

God is indeed paying attention. You know that. He sees everything. Thing is, we need to be on His plan. He doesn't conform to ours. We conform to His. After all, He is always right.

I know it can be hard to hear His leading at times. Spending extra time with Him in the Word, and just asking Him to speak to your heart will help.

Get a new one works with most things, but not in marriage.

Yes, Todd Bentley. The Lord uses unlikely people. He chose the weak to confound the mighty, the foolish to confound the wise. I haven't yet had a chance to watch myself, but I have had a taste and heard enough to have a pretty good idea of what is happening. I can't wait! Sounds like an outpouring to me! A great one, at that.
