Hi

I'm at Global Awakening's Healing Renewal Conference.. Tonight was the first night & it was good..

I was waving my flags up front & this couple had their video camera.. and were taking video of the conference. MIke said that they took a lot of video of me with my flags.

Later Randy explained who they are.. they're taking video to play on Canadian TV.. He said the video they're making is gonna be seen all around the world..

I would love to see it! I'm so glad you're able to attend, I think I would like that even better, to attend rather than watch. The extra perk would be meeting you. I'm really longing for fellowship. My heart is a bit heavy, things are concerning me.

I will cast my care on the Lord. In fact, I did, in prayer this morning. I will not take it back up again. I know He will lead me, and give me answers. I must not let discouragement get in the way, and certainly not voice it. He is already answering. I'm not about to let my mouth stand in the way and ruin everything. I know my Father heard me, I prayed a prayer of faith.

I'm rambling, and maybe not making sense since I'm not speaking in specifics. Some matters are private, and some just ought not to be discussed with anyone but our Father.

If anyone is lead to pray, or has a word, a song, or anything, bring it on!

Ok, so I had a bit of a rant with God last night. Told him how I feel about certain things that just don't seem fair, things that I don't understand. Went on for, I dunno, maybe 20 minutes or so. I suspect I'm not the only one who's ever done it, but it had been a while.

And, no, I didn't get a response. Just hope he was listening. *sigh*

Oh yeah, prayed like that before. I even "told God off" once, many years ago. It all came from a lack of understanding on my part. Good thing He is merciful!

No, we never get answers to prayers like that. He has never come to my pity party. So I stopped throwing them. He is always compassionate, touched with the feeling of my infirmities. But things never change that way, and I certainly don't grow or change either that way. God is moved by faith. He is already for us, already giving, already listening - I think we need to "tune in". Sometimes I find I don't even ask the right questions. Sometimes I need to be quiet, not do the talking, but do the listening.

It's good to enter in with praise. Set aside problems and concerns. (Oh this is good for me too.) Sing until you get past the "junk". Know what I mean? All the mental tape, the negative stuff the enemy plants. Keep on till He is bigger than the problem. Then I sit with my Bible, asking the Lord to teach me. And He does! I find His thoughts are better than mine, and when I make His thoughts my thoughts I step over into a realm of victory. I find I am seated with Christ in heavenly places. But as long as I keep thinking about the problem, and worse, talking about it, rehearsing it over and over, there I will remain.

Thank you LORD!! You are so good and we know YOU will come through.. for YOU are not a man to lie.. or a son of man to change YOUR mind.. What you have said.. will YOU not do?? YES YOU WILL!! Halleujah..

Glory to the LORD!!

Yes, Lord, we stand together in faith, asking You to fill HD to overflowing today with hope, with joy, and freedom financially and in every way. Get to her Father, all she needs. Get it to her, Lord. And may she built up in the very core of her being, in the inner man. Strengthen her there by your Spirit.

And the same for Mark.

And Sharon.

We are headed back for the afternoon session right now, so I have little time to write about what is going on at the conference.. but will write more tonight..

Last night, Randy Clark was speaking about Healing & the Medical Profession. He said that doctors are much more open to God's healing of people than theologians are..

And he said that independent studies have been done.. and he said that those WOF people seem to have it right..

The study results show that WOF people arre healthier that other people.. that speaking positive things over your life keeps you healthy..

But WE KNEW that... *s*

We are on our way back.!

Judith talked this morning about being like Christ & healing.. she was wonderful and her stories inspirational..

Don Williams spoke on addictions today.. very good info.. we're ordering the DVDs..

Very interesting, Glenda. We actually had a story in our newspaper this morning that basically stated the linke between prayer and health was nebulous, at best.

My take on that has always been: It doesn't hurt. I will pray and I will also take medical care when I need it. Whatever works, ya know!!

The only thing that bothers me about the healing teachings is this attitude that says basically "If you have a medical issue that isn't healed, you must not be saved/spirit-filled/right with God/have enough faith, etc." That just makes the person feel worse.

My take on that has always been: It doesn't hurt. I will pray and I will also take medical care when I need it. Whatever works, ya know!!

The only thing that bothers me about the healing teachings is this attitude that says basically "If you have a medical issue that isn't healed, you must not be saved/spirit-filled/right with God/have enough faith, etc." That just makes the person feel worse.

It's shame you feel that way. It certainly isn't true. Plenty of saved people deal with sickness. In fact, I'd say all. We are in this world and we all are faced with the junk here, sickness being one. However, the good news is Jesus. And go to a doctor, but not without prayer. Doctors can take you down a wrong road too, you know. They make mistakes. Always pray first, always believe God, that it is His desire to heal you. And never condemn yourself, or allow others to. Who knows, that probably brings on sickness too!

Um, didn't mean that I felt that way. I just see it in comments from others from time to time.... the attitude that EVERYONE should be healed and if someone is not, something must be wrong with them.

Not my attitude at all.

I didn't express myself well. I agree it is a shame people can be that way, or say things to give that impression. It is not scriptural, and it is not a WoF position. I've heard many teachers say contrary. They thank God for doctors, that doctors have kept most of us alive until we can receive by faith. They also teach there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. It all comes across in an encouraging way. How people walk away with something other has got be the enemy's infiltration into their minds, or inaccurate information based on anti-WoF people.

Shame on anyone teaching healing giving that impression. I don't hear that. Maybe because I don't listen to that bunk anyway.

Now there is a time for seeking the Lord as to why I'm not receiving. The fault is not His, that's for sure. So maybe I am missing something.

And there is a difference between feeling I've done something wrong, or that I need more instruction.

Sometimes we need to just keep standing. Ephesians says, Having done all, stand.

It may just be in Australia.. anyway I am thinking of ordering them and when it begins they will send the programs to your home.. all the taped programs!! Here in Australia they are only shown in the early hours of the morning.. I don't get to watch them..

Unfortunately I still cannot get to the website to watch them either??? But these programs were sent to me complimentary.. and they are fantastic.. Just what I needed!!

I didn't hear them offering for free. I've watched every day and it is about the best I've ever heard him teach. The anointing was strong, everything came together beautifully, how it flowed, and jam-packed with truth. I want a copy very, very much. There was something specific in there that I want to hear again, and I think my husband may benefit from too. If nothing else, something we need to discuss.

I must say Cindy.. this teaching seems to be better understood as we hear it over again.. I watched one program twice.. and the understanding seemed to come together more the second time.. It is truth.. that meditating on the word and the preaching of the word works!! So much material shared.. I was just saying.. OH YES.. amen all the way through!!

These are utterly amazing programs.. you can order the whole services on DVD or CD.. of course the programs on TV broadcasts only have some of what was shared.. Imagine hearing the whole lot!!

I just got the dvd in the mail for free!! I didn't even know it was available.. they are offering to send every week's teaching in Dvd format (2 weeks at a time) via subscription.. so you can keep the programs to watch over and over and also lend out.. watch with others.. etc.. 6 months for $80:00 Australian ~ around 60 cents per episode..

That poem was very basic but there is a message within it. Sing praises to the Lord for He is good, He is our provider and He is the one who wipes away our tears and delivers us from fears. With the Lord on our side we need not fear no matter what comes against us, so we should put stress aside, not worry about provision, nor why we are not yet healed. God is in control, and we need to believe by faith that because He is in control, no weapon formed against us will prosper. Let's praise the name of the Lord despite what we see around us.

Nope, nope.. Telling a person that just puts guilt on their shoulders.. and that is never ok..

And this ministry has nothing against doctors.. in fact, God gave the doctors the ability, wisdom & knowledge to help us when we're sick..

I just find it interesting that it is easier for doctors to believe than some theologians ..

They are doing a conference at Yale with the medical profession.

I watch twice on most days. It comes on at 7:30 and 11:00 in the morning.
