I used to live in Sundsvall, Sweden, where there is very little else around but evergreen trees that could be used as Jul trees. You must be very picky if you can't find any tree that will do. The fir tree is most commonly used.

Funny i couldn't find any in the woods this summer!? i can find silverpine (Swinglish??) in the garden planted and cared for among some houses.. But not wild trees you decorate to christmas!?

Technically, they don't.

Christmas trees do not exist as Christmas trees after Christmas.

A scientist will go out, cut down a fir tree, bring it home, decorate it and call it a Christmas tree to play mind games with their kids.

But after Christmas, it goes back to being a "fir tree", and the scientist goes back to his ... irony ... of denying the "Christ" of Christmas.

Then later, they wonder why their kids went astray and accepted Jesus as their Saviour.
