Federal Support Ends For Coronavirus Testing Sites As Pandemic Peak Nears

Some local officials are disappointed the federal government will end funding for coronavirus testing sites this Friday. In a few places those sites will close as a result. This as criticism continues that not enough testing is available.

Yep, they are closing/closed the big drive-through testing site near me because of this. To be honest, I don't know how much use it was actually getting, which is more of an indictment of it not being as easy as it should be to get a test.

Stopping testing now is frustrating and will lead to another surge of cases as people that have it but are not systematic will infect others.

it's ironic because those testing sights, or some better version of them is only way to actually safley lift the distancing.
