Fears and phobias

Snakes / spiders / other bugs? No problem

Heights...only when small children are around. Weird I know.

but my #1 phobia? Large Cockroaches. Small ones I've no problem with, but once they hit say...an inch in size...Ugh. It cna clear me out of a room.

Oh yeah, and they small HORRIBLE. Most people can't even small them, but I can walk into a house and tell you if there is a roach there...or nearby outside most times too....

I'm all freaked out now. But No there are no bugs in the room, but I get all crazy and paranoid just the metion of them or discription. I am out of this forum!

By the way I used to live next to a house that they had fumigated and in the alley near that home I was walking at night and I looked at the ground and it was like I switched a light on in a vampire movie and all this waterbug roaches were running aroun. Hundreds. I almost died. I think if you wanted to put me in the hospital with a panic attack Put me on fear factor and With those things. I think I would hyperventilate. Thank GOd we moved out of there (like more than ten years ago. Were I live there are no bugs. Just the ocassional small spider and crickets outside. If it were the former I couldn't even be in the same room tha they killed it in. For days. No lie. ONce There was one in the piping at that old house. I showered at my grandmas for two weeks.

Hmmm. Now that I really try to imagine the scariest scenario that I can think of, ruling out the "having to go to war" which is self-evident... you know, I do orienteering (a sport where you have to find the quickest way through the forest, from the start through many control points and finally to the finish) and when I picture in my mind an occasion where I would have to spurt into the depths of the forest when there's a furious thunder storm heading right in my direction, that would have to be it. My phobia. If it were an individual race, I could just say "No, I'm not going. Where's the nearest car? A building with lightning grounding will also do". But if it's a relay race, I can't let my team down and I should just get ready to run and duck. Next sunday I'll take part in the Finnish championship relay, and luckily the weather forecasts I've seen have some happy suns smiling in them.

the movie "little Monsters" with fred savage scared me until i was fifteen..... if i even heard the title name i would have nightmares.... LOL

I have social phobia & prefer to stay home when I'm not working. I have accepted it and actually enjoy it as I can spend more time with God and read the Bible. My life is also usually carefree and simple

I am horrifically scared of shriveled up, shrunken, old ladies with blue hair.
I can deal with regular shriveled up, shrunken old ladies without the blue hair.
I guess it's just the blue hair that scares me.

Oh, and bees, wasps, hornets, mostly because I am allergic to them.

And Wiccan people.... they scare me.... a lot..... ::shivers::

I wouldn't say scared but more bothered by the following, Needles but if have to I can suck it up, snakes but if I need to I can pin one down and pick it up or just kill it, not scared of heights at all or public speaking, death does not scare me but it excites me because when i dy hallelujah by and by I will be praising Jesus do I want to die no but I am not scared of it.
