Fears and phobias

I fear spiders, but only when it comes by surprise or when it's really big.Btw, there's no very big spiders where i live so it's not a problem.
But i also put needles. I only had some vaccines when i was young, but all the stories i heard about stupid nurses and so make me fear the needles...

I don't care for crowds or when i'm just starting to get to know a group of people but this year its been great, i've met alot of new awesome people through paintball tournaments and team practice.

well i used to be really afraid of any bug and spider i'd see. as my SO puts it, "flutter-crawlies."
now i'm the only person in my house with enough guts to kill them. they still are freaky though.


And I have this weird fear of the OUTSIDE of boats/ships. the bow. the stern. the propellars, the bottom, the motors.... i HATE it. i can't stand to touch them, be next to them... it freaks me out. BUT I love being on boats. boating and traveling by ship is just fine. being outside the boat is icky.

I am afraid of heights! I remember this one time, my family and I rented a houseboat for a couple of weeks during one summer while I was growing up. Everyone was jumping off the top of it into the water, and I just COULDN'T do it!! It wasn't even THAT tall!! *lol*

I couldn't ever imagine sky diving, or bungy jumping or anything that is CRAZY like that! That's asking to die in my mind!

Well, ya'll are gonna laugh, but i have a terrible fear of cotton...like cotton balls and q tips...TOTALLY CREEP ME OUT!!! OH MY GOSH, i hate them SOOO MUCH...ew ew ew...creeps me out just htinking about them.

Spiders, snakes, and heights tend to freak me out. I'm perfectly fine when way up high as long as there is a railing that is at least waist high.

Spiders, death, needles (quick things like tetanus shots don't bother me, just getting blood drawn and IV's...the needle is in the skin too long), other (getting a horrible, painful disease like cancer or MS or something). I'm also claustrophobic. Man...I have a lot of phobias don't I?

Spiders are pretty darn creepy with their eight legs, their numerous, beedy little eyes, and fangs... anyone ever see the movie Arachnaphobia? Scared the tar out of me as a kid.

The worst fear, however, would have to be that of solitude. The cold darkness of loneliness is far more terrifying than any creepy little spider.

So i voted other... because none of them apply. i am afraid of someone coming into my room and drilling out my temples in the night. every night i sleep with something covering my temples and eyes.

when i was little the stairs leading to the second floor of our house was lined with hooks ussed for holding jackets and stuff. my bedroom was on the second floor so evertime i had to take the stairs i would get paranoid that id slip and fall onto one of those hooks, and my temple would be caught.

haha yeah so its weird... i have no idea why im afraid of this... im really not afriad of anything else haha yeaaaaaah. so anyway theres my story!!

I can't say that I'm afraid of the things I put down, (spiders and bugs), but I just hate them a lot.

I agree with Thithy I am not really afraid of anything just do not like spiders, bugs(especially crickets!! but theres things behind that), and snakes.

i've got a horrible fear of heights, its one of those few things that is a real problem, even on a six foot latter my head will start to spin, and my heart will race like mad. On the ground i feel so stable, put me up high, and i fall apart inside, oh, and being alone and cold, also afraid of that, but not as much as heights.

Absolutely phobic of spiders. Not scared as such, i know they cant really do anything, but if i go near one i get shivers up my spine, my hands do little mini spasms, i feel sick to the stomach, i cant breathe, cant move, i shake and often i make a little "eeeeeeeeeeeeeep!" noise. I feel nauseous for ages afterwards. My heart races. I hyperventilate. Its horrible.

I'm great with needles tho. ANd yes, I have had nurses who didnt know what they were doing. One nurse was really shocking. While the needle was in my arm, blood came out around the needle!! =o\ and she hit my muscle or something and stuffed my arm up for a while. But im still cool with them. I even pierced my own belly button (dumb i know)

I'm not scared of flies, but i hate them and also all those little midgies and mozzies that fly close together near rivers etc at dusk. Im scared im gunna breath em in and it makes me feel kindas paranoid that i cant escape them.

I'm also scared of hurting my eyes, i walk really wide around clothing rails etc at work, incase i 'wobble' and end up hitting my eye.lol. I also sometimes get scared of 'slipping' when i'm walking on regular flat ground. Dont ask me why, i dunno.

But spiders is my big one.
