Since about 1960 , maybe earlier, the biggest cause of death in the usa , and the fastest growing cause of death in the usa, has been the medical protocols/ medicine/ legally done and prescribed by officially approved protocols.
No worries if you or anyone chooses to deny part of this - it is readily (or was before today) verifiable by searching with any search engine the internet statistics published of and by or sourced from the official FDA and AMA , and other government and other medical sites.
They do of course obfuscate all the statistics as much as possible to get some other desired outcome, to distract from what is really happening for the last century.
Naturally , as the biggest drain of money in the world , might be military spending, or is still medical spending ... and everything will be done to protect that no matter what.

The problem is exactly what you detail. We need the truth, not some politicized version of it that is "Pro-Fauci" or "Pro-Trump". How stupid was that?I think this is one of those situations where society allowed political correctness to trump pragmatism.
If you remember the original conversations surrounding this, the "animal to human jump" theory was deemed to be political incorrect, because it "may cause racist Americans to make jokes about Chinese people eating bat soup". Fast forward a year or so, when Fauci became something of a folk hero in the eyes of progressives because he publicly went against Trump (there were outlets selling #TeamFauci merch), then the lab theory became "unacceptable" because "conservatives may use that to attack Fauci".
It's gotta be one of the two...yet, some people have reasons why either of the two theories should be "socially verboten", while never providing a plausible third option.
Clearly the virus came from somewhere...either China has a food culture in that province that's problematic, China has weak lab safety measure practices that are problematic, or Chinese labs (using American money) are tinkering with things that shouldn't be tinkered with in a way that's problematic.
That can't be reconciled with a position of "Whatever we do, we can't say anything relating to China because that could provide fodder for racist people" if the aim is to actually find the truth and understand what happened.

The last fifty years have seen a stronger strangehold/ increase in one world power working, than ... well, than what ? More laws, gigantic budget (many trillions of dollars), no way to , um.... what ? change things for better ? The money is all more in not.

Exactly the same result we had would have occurred had we done nothing at all but the sick stay home when sick.
Healthy people would have gone about their lives. Elderly and those with co-morbidities would have distanced and stayed home, and we still would have lost the one percent + of the most vulnerable, as we do with the flu- the elderly and already sick. Kids would have continued to go to school. None of this had to happen. But hey, billions of dollars were made by Pharma and more millions were scooped up by scammers in the "pandemic funding" so at least someone made out well, eh?
