  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Also let's throw in the crossbow in Resident Evil 2.

Loved that thing.

Bah. The Magnum in that game is the only way to go. Sleek and simple in both appearance and operation, and capable of blowing even G-virus monsters away in less than a clip's worth of ammo. ^_^

The Laptop Gun (Perfect Dark) - Normally carried around / disguised as a laptop, but can also unfold into an sub-machine gun. Had an auxiliary function which allowed it to be thrown and stick to any surface, to act as an automatic, personal sentry turret.

The Slayer fly-by-wire rocket launcher (Perfect Dark) - Allowed you to launch a single rocket at a time, with the secondary option of flying it around / detonating it at will using an external camera feed:
Slayer.jpg SlayerCam.jpg

The BombSpy (Perfect Dark) - Basically a drone you could fly around using an external camera feed, and could be detonated at will.

The N-Bomb (also Perfect Dark) - A grenade which could be thrown as a proximity mine, and would hen tbounce around a room until it came in contact with someone (or would detonate itself after a certain amount of time had elapsed).

Perfect dark had the coolest, most unique weapons, lol.

I found the magnum too slow for my liking. And if I remember correctly it didn't have very long ammo life. It was useful though... blowing up zombie heads was fun albeit a waste.

Big swords are cool, but they seem kinda impractical.
I was just thinking the other night, if I were ever in a melee-type battle, I would want to dual-wield two short swords, like the size of a Roman gladius. But with an actual guard on them, cause I’d like to keep my hands.

Weapon-One-Hit-Obliterator-zelda-breath-of-the-wild.jpg

I fell in love this one from Zelda BOTW! The One-Hit Obliterator!
Hyrule Compendium Entry

The One-Hit Obliterator is an unbreakable Weapon that can instantly defeat enemies in a single hit. However, it also renders its user vulnerable to single strikes as well.[1] The One-Hit Obliterator can only be used twice at any given time. When its power is depleted, it will stop glowing for a few seconds to recharge.[2] During this time, its attack power is reduced to 1 and it will not recharge while it is swung.

While the One-Hit Obliterator is in Link's inventory, he cannot switch to another melee Weapon, nor can he regain health. Any health regained through the use of Materials or Food will quickly disappear after Link leaves the inventory screen. The One-Hit Obliterator can safely strike an opponent's Shield without losing its charge. While at full charge, the One-Hit Obliterator can fell Trees in one hit, whereas its uncharged state requires several more hits.

The One-Hit Obliterator is found inside the Shrine of Resurrection after Princess Zelda instructs Link to return the Sheikah Slate to the terminal it was found in. After doing so, the One-Hit Obliterator will appear opposite the terminal inside the chamber. Once Link grabs hold of the One-Hit Obliterator, his Life Gauge will reduce to a mere quarter of a Heart. Upon regaining his composure, the Sheikah Monk, Monk Maz Koshia, calls out to him.[3] Monk Maz Koshia warns Link that while undergoing the Divine Beast Tamer's Trial, he must steel himself with dedication, as its volatile properties render its use highly dangerous.[4] Monk Maz Koshia then directs Link to his task of clearing four marked locations on the Great Plateau, where groups of enemies must be cleared.[5] Monk Maz Koshia also warns Link that if he leaves the Great Plateau at any time before the Trial is complete, the One-Hit Obliterator will leave him and return to its pedestal in the Shrine of Resurrection.[6]

After Link completes Etsu Korima Shrine, Rohta Chigah Shrine, Ruvo Korbah Shrine, and Yowaka Ita Shrine, the One-Hit Obliterator will split into four glowing orbs and scatter to different areas of Hyrule.[7] The One-Hit Obliterator then returns to its pedestal in the Shrine of Resurrection. However, it can no longer be taken from its pedestal and having fulfilled its duty, rests peacefully.[8]

A single hit? Where’s the fun in that? :tonguewink:

true...but I mean...if used in the Big boss fight...it helps reduce all the hassle...too bad though it's only allowed to be used on a specific mission and can't take it after...grrrrr...I'm getting old too strider...I got no time to grind through the fights ahahah

Nah, that reminds me too much of the deer-antler whip-stick that Vanille uses as a weapon in Final Fantasy XIII. ... And, as you all know quite well by now, since I hate that RPG, I say anything that reminds me of it in any way instantly sucks. ^_^

May I suggest you start with 6 if you intend to play any at all? It's mid-90's Super NES style and relatively easy to pick up and learn if you are not familiar with RPG's, while being one of the best in the series.

Just ... don't ... TOUCH ... THIRTEEN.
