Lol I'm starting to be fascinated with weapons especially while reading LOTR and playing Zelda...mostly swords..
What are your favorite weapons from either games or movies? Pics would be cool!
there was this one from sailor moon, i just vividly still remember having a toy model of it when I was a kid ahahah

I don't remember this guy's name in Samurai X but was always fascinated by his big sword

and also this guy's cross shaped huge gun in trigun...

lastly i like the guardian sword in zelda botw...it just has this epic vibe lol

He's sort of aggressive at times though. In the pic all a deer was doing was chilling and eating some apples and just glanced his way.

From the game Perfect Dark N64, the FarSight (which was completely O.P. and allowed you to shoot through walls) and the RCP120 (temporarily allowed you to cloak, which also ate up ammo):


From Half Life / Portal, the Gravity Gun and Portal Gun:


From Halo (and also it's real-life equivalent), the Electromagnetic Rail Gun:


In real life (not an option, but pffft), the AA12 Full-Automatic Shotgun and FN P90:

I never actually looked at Sailor Moon's accessories to be "weapons", but shields. Since the Japanese translation is in fact Soldier of Love (Ai no Senshi) and her sole purpose was to "cast away" darkness that either infected or possessed others. I thought this to be very unique in any anime I had come across and still haven't seen anything similar to Christian values as this one.

Agreed! It's not technically a weapon, but can still be used as one.

That would be the Zanbato, a great sword way to unwieldy to be at all believable in anything outside of an anime. And strangely only one of the skinnier-looking warriors in all of the Rurouni Kenshin series, Sanosuke, is said to be the only one in all of that universe strong enough to wield such a weighty thing with any skill. Go figure, huh?
