An ex pastor was from Maine. When he first moved to TN he was at someone's house and they asked him "Did you eat yet?" Only it was pronounced more like: "jeetyet"?

I personally like "Bless your heart." and "up in under".

As in: "I dropped my fork, did you see where it went?" "It went up in under the table."

actually a true southerner would say "rite" "it's rite down the road :)

and I'm very familiar w/"count"-

Here's one much less common I once heard:

Use it all the time, the ones I get teased about the most from my Yankee Sisters
are"

"Cut out the lights" (means turn out the lights)

"What ya'll don' drink straight from the Hose Pipe?" (Garden Hose)

& anything to do w/a "Hot Water Heater" (Water heater; yes we know its redundant) :)

We just say "Bless your heart" (which infers we don't really care) and go on. :)
