I voted "Other", because I couldn't decide between Star Wars, Star Trek, Farscape, or the X-Files.

If Star Wars really counts, than I should add a couple Anime, the Matrix trilogy, Dark City, Equillibrium, Hellboy, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Van Hellsing, and a whole long list of movies to the list above.

I used to like the Outer Limits. Got boring after awhile, though.

Star Wars is my favorite sci-fi movie series. As for television, I like Star Trek DS9 and Next Generation. Voyager is rather dull...I've watched every episode 3 or 4 times already.

Lifelong Trek fan here, all incarnations except Enterprise. (Never followed the timeline, Archer was a wimp, etc...)

DS9 and TNG are my favs, although this all started watching TOS in the 60's. Just so much depth, you can actually imagine the future being like it's portrayed, and I especially liked the way the Bajorans on DS9 stuck to their guns regarding their religion.
Star Wars was fun, but more of a western in the future than an actual future.

I chose "other" because Dr. Who was my favorite overall sci-fi show.

I liked the original Star Trek, as well as ST:TNG, but don't like the others. I do like the Star Trek movies, though. I liked the original Star War movies, but don't care too much for the new ones. I haven't seen most of the others, so can't comment on them.

They beefed up Archer nicely after a while. He was pretty wussy at first tho. = ) I actually cringed when I first heard Scott Bakula was gonna be a Starship Captain...but he's one of my favorites now.

I'll be retroactively checking out Babylon 5 at the *insistance* of a buddy who is a die-hard fan. We'll see if it holds a candle to Trek.

Get past most of the first season and I think B-5 is as strong as any other sci-fi show/ movie thats been done. Definitely worth watching.
