Though I have tender affections for many icons, I agree with Photini, The Virgin of The Sign is by far my favorite.

I just bought this icon from www.skete.com (alphabetized under R). For some reason, this icon has always moved me, even more so now that I have one in person. I am keeping it by my computer until I can get it blessed.

Speaking of which, I'm not sure what everyone in my parish thinks of the Tsar and his family being glorified, so I'm a little apprehensive about what their reactions might be. In my own opinion, it's my icon corner and I'll put whatever icons I want in it. But I really don't know what I'll do if I have to defend my veneration of these martyrs in 'real life'. It's difficult to have to explain something so sensitive and personal.

To tell you the truth, I had not even planned on purchasing this icon the other night; I just ran across it while I was looking for an icon of St. Romanus the Sweet-Singer. I remembered how seeing this icon before had so touched my heart, and I just felt a strange compulsion to get it.

All else said, it is a beautiful icon. It doesn't come across in this tiny thumbnail, but if you view the huge full-size image, you can see that it is strikingly detailed, especially in the faces. I'm really pleased with it.

Are you looking for one of these, or are you looking for the Tsarina?

I've never seen an icon of the Tsarina by herself. The only one of the Holy Royal Martyrs I've seen depicted alone is Tsar Nicholas. If you are desperate you could get one commissioned, I suppose.

You might try an online icon shop that is located in Russia. I'm not sure, but I think I saw an icon of the Tsarevich by himself at one of those--and they're bound to have icons of the members of the family by themselves somewhere. It might be kind of pricey to have to buy one from Russia, but once veneration of the Holy Royal Martyrs becomes more widespread, I'm sure their icons will, too.

Or you could try contacting the Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY. You should see the pretty Icons that Father Averky sent me and the children from there. They come from Russia (of course).

After you upload a pic, go to your control panel, then to Miscellaneous/Attachments (on the left side), right click on properties of the pic you uploaded. Use that local url for the [ img] tag.

Yes, I think Jordanville is where this icon of the Holy Royal Martyrs is originally from. (That is, Jordanville is where the original icon is, the actual icon I have came from skete.com.)
