Well, I'm so happy to see that so many people like fantasy and sci fi. They are two of my favorite genres! However, due to my cousin, I have started reading romance novels, and I know it sounds bad, but they really aren't. They're actually quite funny. So to recap, my favorite genres are Fantasy, Sci fi, and Romance!!!

I love reading fantasy, sci-fi, and historical fiction. I think they're most interesting when there is mystery involved. Most of the first books i remember reading were mystery novels; boxcar children, Nancy Drew,etc.

I have really broad tastes. I'm a big action fan, both reading and writing it. Nothing beats a scene including ... say, a bomb capable of destroying a third of the earth's mass inside a tank that's just fallen out of a carrier plane (Temple by Matthew Reilly). I also really enjoy satire, courtroom stuff, military, and I'm currently getting into older, classic literature. Nothing beats the genius of Douglas Adams' Hitch-Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy though.
