My favorite is Bad Religion. Their songs are very catchy and the lyrics are very thought-provoking. They're also one of the longest-running punk bands in the US.

i got my head busted open at one of their shows last year

it was kind of funny afterwards, cause i had been taking a video at the time and it goes sideways and you here me scream and then drop the camera

I'm a big fan of the Dave Matthews Band and U2. For DMB...it's the way they use all sorts of instruments...not just guitar, drums, etc. I love their live shows because they last a while...a 3 minute song can turn into a 15 minute song with all the solo's, etc. It's very cool to watch. U2...I love U2 because it makes me think of the youth group I used to go to when I was a brand new Christian. Good times.

Switchfoot - their lyrics are amazing, their music sounds great to me, and the band members are REALLY funny. look up 'Switchfoot podcast' on youtube!

by the way, most people do consider them christian, but the band members say they are NOT. But the band members are christian. They rather write music for everyone, though.

System Of A Down for sure ... why?
There are two reasons:
1. The most obvious one is that they are creating beautiful music at least that's my opinion.
2. They are dedicated to "World peace", Serj, the lead singer, is involved in many peace organizations and his doing a pretty good job.
btw: He is my role model
