  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Well, it's not like it's that much time. Average 15 minutes drive time. 30 minutes on Liturgy of the Word. Equals 45 minutes. That would mean don't eat 15 minutes before you leave the house.
That reminds me of back home. The drive is over 30 minutes (not a heavily Catholic locale), and we have to get there early to avoid sitting behind a giant column and to give my mother time to get up the steps. I have finished eating just before leaving the house.

Nephew Daniel  ...i feel lousy that i came so late to the Truth! But i thank God that He was so patient with me :)

loadsa auntie affection,

auntie Deb.:)

Dear Auntie or Aunty Deborah,

Lets just thank God that you did come to truth, so don't ever feel lousy again ok? :)
God waits for everyone I reckon!
I do know how you feel though, as, although a cradle Catholic, I have only just really started to believe that I have "found the truth". And I can't help but feel "lousy" about the wasted years.

Your loving nephew,

Daniel

PS You know I'll be expecting birthday and Christmas presents now! ;)

Sorry this thread seems to be all over the place!

Thanks for you replies though, even the one about the falling trees......I think iiiiiiiitt.......... DOES make a noise! Am I right? :p

I personally leave at least an hour before the start of mass for fasting. I can think of nothing worse than turning up to receive Our Lord having just eaten a curry or something.

 What's a curry! Don't you have curries is America!! A curry is a traditional British dish. Made by Indians.

And unless you enjoy food that hurts you, it is best left alone! It can be very, very spicey.

So spicey in fact, you would climb over your own grandmother to get a glass of water. I don't really know why people eat it, I think it stinks!
