NAACP claims that Republican "extremists" are targetting Holder to stop him from enforcing civil rights laws...

<snip>

Awww, playing the race card, how novel.

Isn't it almost cute when extreme liberal organization attempt to look serious and "all about the issues?!" Almost makes me want to do the "cootchy, cootchy, coo!" thing.

The NAACP doesn't seem to have any concern for Brian Terry's civil rights

Well, no- They wouldn't be. He was working for "the man," so in the mind of the organism we call the NAACP, he deserved what he got.

Of course he did, and of course he would. He's scared.

Agreed.
Of course Obama might try to pull a last minute stunt by siddenly invoking executive privilege, but, as I understand it, Holder would still be held in contempt for his actions up until now

Yes he would, and there is no precedent for a retroactive EO of that type. Moreover, I do not believe Obama would do that, for the simple reason that it is an election year- Even his family comes second to reelection.

An hour away from the decision - but it doesn't matter - it will mean nothing - Holder still holds the cards. Contempt of Congress means nothing, just as impeachment for Clinton meant nothing. Any way you look at it - they hold the cards and can be as crooked as they want and will get away with it.

Others are saying that if Holder is indeed found in contempt, Obama will have no choice but to throw him under the bus.

But what then? The new AG will be in the same spot. Obama can then invoke Executive Privilege but how will that look to do so only after hs AG has been thrown under the bus? This does not bode well for Obama anyway you look at it

Eric HOlder has just ask the president for Executive order to keep from giving up the documents. Why are we not surprised?
Holder is still in contempt. The finding of contempt will be for his actions up until now

Yeah well, big surprise there . . .

Well, here's what I found.

According to Hannity's website, on June 15th there was a discussion on Holder and Fast and Furious. The synopsis for the June 15th show does say that a female was involved in the discussion along with Jay Sekulow.

The female panelist was Liz Cheney . . . yes, that Liz Cheney, spawn of Evil Lord Darth Vader himself....

LOL! No, it wasn't Liz Cheney - I know what she looks like. I believe the woman was a brunette. But I've given up - Sean Hannity so obviously disagreed with her (when she said that she expected Holder to prevail on keeping the documents themselves confidential), that I'm sure he wouldn't have preserved that particular video.

Thanks, though! :)

I bet both sides start getting outraged now. Barry just bought the whole mess, and in an election year (no less).

Yup.

This proves that the cover-up went all the way to the White House and the Feb 4th letter with all of the misrepresentations was given the blessing of the White House and allowed to fester for nearly a year with the sole intent to frustrate the oversight of Congress and hide the actions of DoJ.

Now it becomes an impeachable offense.

Thank you Obama for sealing your fate

Gotta love it. Now, the questions for the day are: Will the American people be stupid enough to vote Obama back into the White House regardless? And if he is reelected, will he then be impeached? (I'm going with the assumption for the sake of conversation that Holder is scrawed.)

Also, Mach? Your link goes nowhere. Wasn't sure if that was intentional or not, because it seemed like it might be a rather ingenious illustration, but just in case... Yeah. That just takes everyone to the main CF page.

Finally... 22 to 6- For Contempt- And who's in contempt now?

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-ah.
