Fantasy Football Year 5

I can sympathize I have lost several games by a point or less. This football season just needs to end, haha

Agreed, lol. I lost a few games by only a couple points I think; one was when I was on a cruise and forgot to swap out my QB who was on bye.

But, this was my first year playing fantasy football, and it's been a learning experience. Next year though, I'll be ready to dominate.

Anyways, it was a fascinating fantasy football week where Antonio Brown and the Jaguars D dominated once again. @SweetCarolina absolutely smashes as well, posting a 130-point score and causing me to have to grab for the Kleenex. Holding in at 3rd place in my work league. Been a crazy up and down season. Ran up 168 points one week, beat the guy in first place the next and then lost to the guy in last place the week after that. Oh well.

Got a win in all five of my fantasy football leagues this week

It was especially timely in two leagues where I was trying to lock up at least a 2nd-place finish, which also means a first-round bye. In all five leagues I have Ezekiel Elliott, meaning in those two leagues I just have to win Week 15 and then I'll have Zeke back for Week 16 (the championship). And in one of these leagues where I finished in 2nd, it was a $25 buy-in league. The high scorer each week gets $5, and I've gotten the high score four weeks this season. I am also highest scorer for the season, which gets $20 and my second place finish gets me $25, so I have more than doubled my money at this point. I still have a shot at 1st place too if the guy I'm chasing loses tonight (which he's not projected too). 1st place is worth $70. And then after the playoffs the champion gets $90 and the runner up gets $35, so there's still more money to be won!

In one league I didn't make the playoffs (only 4 out of 10 make it), and in one league my win got me into the playoffs, which was nice. The Packers' OT win yesterday still gives them a chance to make the playoffs too. It was a good weekend

This is it. The time has come. Blood, sweat, and tears have been shed for 13 weeks, enduring byes, injuries, and suspensions all in the quest for that one coveted prize--the CF Fantasy Football League Championship. We have not yet reached the summit, but have come to an impasse ever so brief before the journey onward into the hard, cold December playoffs continues.

Congratulations to the eight teams who made it. I have been impressed with all of you in this league. It has been extremely competitive with most teams racking up at least 5 losses. You all kept your rosters updated and gave it your best shot, and it made for a lot of fun! To the two teams who didn't make it, my condolences. Just imagine us all enveloping you with a big bear hug. You will live in our memories forever.
