He was a healthy scratch so he was inactive/not eligible to play in the game. If you have a smartphone, there's an app called the Fantasy Life app where you can check to make sure all of your players are active for their games

Yeah I learned never to roll with a New England running back. They go through them like Hugh Hefner went through wives.

Thanks for the tip. Last I checked though when setting up the roster, he was still eligible. =/ Oh well, lesson learned, lol.

Well it's more like teams will only have a certain number of players on their 52-man roster active for the actual game. So while they might have five running backs on their roster, the Patriots only had three active for the game on Sunday. So when there are guys like that who might be competing with other players for snaps and carries, or if a guy is dealing with an injury and might be a gametime decision on whether or not he will play, it helps to get in the habit of just confirming that they didn't get scratched from playing for some reason.

That actually happened late last season with Doug Martin. I think it was during the fantasy playoffs, and the Buccaneers scratched him for the game out of nowhere, and I think a lot of people got snubbed because they weren't expecting that.

Also, if you have Twitter, you can follow guys like Matthew Berry, Field Yates, Ian Rappaport, and Adam Schefter and they usually tweet prior to games about what notable players might be active or inactive.

I can sympathize I have lost several games by a point or less. This football season just needs to end, haha
